Bethenny Frankel Reportedly Makes Huge Demands For Season 9 Of ‘RHONY’
Bethenny Frankel is a force to be reckoned with in the reality television realm. She knows what she wants, and she makes sure her demands are met. Frankel is currently airing on Season 8 of the Real Housewives of New York. Her story line surrounds making waves with the other women and snuggling up to her new best friend, Carole Radziwill. After taking a few seasons off, Frankel has returned to claim her territory within the Housewives franchise.
Andy Cohen and Bethenny Frankel are incredibly tight. Since she has an in with the Bravo guru, her demands and suggestions are taken seriously. According to All About the Tea, Bethenny Frankel has made some very big demands for Season 9 of the Real Housewives of New York. She would like to keep Carole Radziwill around. Rumors indicated that the network may have considered letting her go next season because she wasn’t serving a purpose. Frankel jumped in and immediately requested her one ally stay on the Bravo payroll. Also, there has been some talk about contractual clauses that would forbid the other ladies from talking about Frankel’s divorce from Jason Hoppy, and her daughter, Bryn. All of this sounds like typical Bethenny, and would likely happen if she pushed the network hard enough on these issues.
This season has kept Bethenny Frankel on her toes. She has been fighting Sonja Morgan over the name of her wine line, which is a copycat brand of her Skinnygirl cocktail line. The confrontation was filmed for the Real Housewives of New York, and Frankel caught heavy criticism for ambushing Morgan when she arrived at her office. While this has not been resolved yet, it seems the ladies can at least fake being friendly at events and for the rest of the season. Frankel also experienced some medical issues dealing with her female reproductive parts. It is an ongoing story line, with Carole Radziwill being by her side. Throughout the entire medical ordeal. Carole and Dorinda Medley stuck right beside Frankel.
It is almost guaranteed that Bethenny Frankel will return next season, especially if her demands are met. She has managed to step out and be the star of Season 8, leaving Sonja Morgan and Ramona Singer in the dust. Frankel really made waves when she attacked LuAnn de Lesseps at Dorinda Medley’s home in the Berkshires. It was an intense conversation where a lot of ugly words were thrown around. Since then, Frankel and de Lesseps have been cordial but nothing more. The Real Housewives of New York is one of the older shows in the franchise, and it has had a lot of ins and outs with the cast.
As things move forward this season, Bethenny Frankel is going to cause more trouble. She isn’t one to keep her mouth closed and her comments about some of the other ladies will stir the pot. It seems that the Real Housewives of New York has gotten to be a little on the petty side with the new additions and choices the ladies have made. Jules Wainstein and Frankel have a tense relationship, partly because of Carole Radziwill egging it on. Her relationship with Sonja Morgan is non-existent, which is a shame because the two used to have a lot of fun together. Frankel and LuAnn de Lesseps have totally fallen apart over something small, and it doesn’t look like repairing it is an option in the future. Bethenny Frankel has a lot to look forward to in the upcoming months and with the demands she reportedly made to Bravo, it appears she will be quite comfortable next season.
