Khloe Kardashian Urged To Cut Off All Contact With Lamar Odom By Kris Jenner

According to reports, Kris Jenner is urging daughter Khloe Kardashian to cut all ties with her estranged husband Lamar Odom.

Sources close to the Kardashian family are claiming that Jenner has had enough of Khloe’s on/off relationship with Odom and is allegedly “encouraging Khloe to stay away from Lamar at all costs.”

After filing for divorce for a second time earlier this year, Khloe has been vocal about her attempts to continue to help her estranged husband through his battles with drugs and alcohol, though sources are revealing to Hollywood Life that Jenner has been urging Kardashian to cut all ties with Odom for the past few months.

“Kris has actually been saying this for quite some time now,” the Keeping Up with the Kardashians insider admitted. “She knows how vulnerable Khloe is around Lamar and doesn’t want to see her get hurt over and over again by someone who is emotionally unavailable.”

According to the source, Jenner is worried that if Khloe continues to spend time with Lamar, who she married after a whirlwind courtship back in 2009, that Kardashian and Odom could once again reconcile.

“Kris is worried that if Khloe doesn’t cut the cord with Lamar and stop all communication,” an insider said, “she will end up taking him back again.”

“[Kris is] adamant that Khloe cut all ties with Lamar once and for all,” the site’s insider added of how Jenner really feels about Odom.

Reports suggesting that Khloe is being encouraged to sever her relationship with Lamar come just weeks after Kardashian filed for divorce once again after postponing proceedings while standing by Odom’s side during his lengthy hospital stint last year.

People claimed at the time that Kardashian still cares for Odom but could no longer support him and play babysitter while Lamar allegedly spiralled out of control once again.

“Khloe Kardashian cares about Lamar Odom and he’ll always be in her life, but there is only so much you can do for a person,” an insider close to the Kardashian family told People following Kardashian’s last month. “You can’t help or fix someone who won’t fix themselves. She was loyal for a long time and taking care of him, but she’s not a babysitter and needs to move on with her life.”

The source also admitted that at the time that Kris Jenner’s alleged fears that Kardashian and Odom could reconcile are unfounded, as Khloe is okay about officially ending her marriage.

“She’s honestly fine and it’s more of a formality at this point,” People‘s insider said of how Kardashian is coping amid the divorce. “She’ll always be there for him. But as far as their marriage is concerned, that’s over and has been for quite some time. It was time to make it official.”

Khloe is yet to speak out about reports claiming that Kris is encouraging her to cut off all contact with Lamar, though it sounds like Kardashian is more than ready to move on with her love life.

Just last week Kardashian was spotted with a new man, as Entertainment Tonight reported that the reality star was spotted getting seriously cozy with musician Trey Songz in Las Vegas.

The site recently claimed that the two were together in the Nevada city on July 2 where an onlooker spotted Kardashian watching her rumored new man perform at Drai’s Nighclub at The Cromwell.

The onlooker admitted to the site that Khloe was “smiling the entire night” as Songz performed a number of his biggest hits at the club, where he has a residency contract, and even claimed that the twosome were later spotted making out following the performance.

“They weren’t shy about it!” Entertainment Tonight‘s source revealed of Khloe and Trey.
