Lil Kim Joins ‘Celebrity Big Brother,’ Set To Reveal Plastic Surgery Obsession, Abusive Relationships
Lil Kim is reportedly joining Celebrity Big Brother U.K., it has been revealed.
Producers for the Channel 5 reality show are said to have tried to negotiate a deal with the rapper for years, but according to sources, the money they offered in the past just wasn’t matching up with what the mother of one hoped she would bag.
According to the Mirror, however, with the show’s increasing popularity, producers have made the daring decision to spend a whopping $1,295,000 on the “How Many Licks” hitmaker, making Lil Kim the highest-paid contestant in history.

Insiders reveal that celebrities, especially those from other countries, are usually known to receive the most money. But judging by previous seasons, the network’s execs would never go higher than $500,000, especially since the show only runs for no more than four weeks.
“Producers are thrilled they’ve finally got her. It’s taken a lot of cash but they are confident she will be worth it,” a source shared.
Big Brother bosses and producers seem to think that Lil Kim will draw an impressive amount of viewers, having made endless headlines in recent months, ranging from skin bleaching rumors to a reported plastic surgery obsession.
Lil Kim’s appearance has consistently changed throughout the years: from her nose to her growing waist, and her frozen face. Sources say that it is hard to deny the fact that Kim has had a lot of work done since 2006, with some of her fans even failing to recognize her now that she’s made such a huge transformation.

And while the rapper has never really addressed her decision to go under the knife so often, Us Weekly reports, Big Brother will be the perfect platform for her to clear up the rumors once and for all.
“This will be Kim’s chance to set the record straight and have her say on all the rumours. Bosses are hoping she will be outspoken inside the house and make it an explosive series.”
It is also believed that Kim will address her ongoing feud with fellow female rapper Nicki Minaj, whom she infamously slammed in a diss track back in 2010. Their beef would ignite Nicki to slam Kim in numerous songs, claiming that the 40-year-old’s time was up — adding that a new Queen is in town.
Kim has always been very vocal about her annoyance concerning Minaj, who she claims has stolen her image and marketed as if it was her own. In a matter of six years, Nicki has made over $50 million, which Lil Kim seems to think is all down to the fact that Minaj stole everything she brought to the industry and branded as being something new.
Following her time in the house, Lil Kim will be heading out on tour with the likes of P. Diddy and Faith Evans as part of the Bad Boy Family Reunion North American tour, where she’ll perform her classic hits such as “Dreams,” “Big Momma Thang,” and “No Time.”What do you make of Lil Kim joining Celebrity Big Brother? The show is expected to kick off later this month, with Channel 5 producers gearing up for an official statement next week.
