Is Kylie Jenner And Tyga’s Up-And-Down Relationship Just A Ratings Ploy For ‘KUWTK’?
Kylie Jenner and Tyga are reportedly back together again. The rapper is even reportedly living in the teen’s home, despite the reports that they’re “just friends.” Is their on-and-off relationship a ratings ploy for Keeping Up With the Kardashians? That’s what fans seem to think lately.
While Kylie Jenner, 18, and Tyga, 26, have not addressed the state of their confusing relationship status on this season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, it has been drawing plenty of interest on social media. Fans can’t seem to get enough of the couple’s hot-and-cold relationship, taking notice of their every move on Instagram and Snapchat. It all started last Friday when the popular Jenner teen posted a photo of herself wearing a curve-hugging nude dress and thigh-high olive green suede boots. In her caption was a crown emoji, possibly referring to her “king” Tyga.
Then, Tyga followed up by posting a photo of Kylie sitting on his unmade bed and wearing the exact same outfit on his Instagram along with the caption, “They always come back.” That made the rumors swirl that Kylie took back her ex-boyfriend, much to the chagrin of her fans. Tyga quickly deleted the photo after he probably received some heat from fans for writing the tacky caption.
Are Kylie Jenner and Tyga really back together? That remains to be seen. Sources told E! News that the two are just “hanging out” at the moment.
“They are not back together officially but started seeing each other again romantically. It’s not as much pressure this time around because they both have had some space over the past few weeks apart. Tyga wants to get back with Kylie though. Tyga says that [she is] his wife, in good or bad.”
In addition, a source told People that the pair, who ended their relationship well over a month ago, still have plenty of love for one other. Jenner has reportedly been dating the rapper for well over a year now.
“He was her first true love and that is something that she just can’t walk away from entire,” added the source.
Keep in mind that Tyga still has money problems, another source told the outlet. As for Kylie’s family, they don’t mind that she’s taken him back so suddenly because they don’t see it lasting this time around.
This isn’t the first time that it’s been rumored that Kylie Jenner’s relationship with Tyga is a publicity stunt for ratings. When they first split around the rapper’s 26th birthday party, Jenner was noticeably absent at his birthday bash. Meanwhile, she took to Instagram to confirm that she’s “single as f***” with her millions of followers.
Then, a few days later, the couple was spotted having dinner at The Nice Guy in West Hollywood, where they were spotted holding hands. Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton questioned if Kylie Jenner’s alleged breakup with Tyga was a “total fakeout” in order to generate TV ratings and social media interest.

In addition, Kylie Jenner confirmed their relationship was back on when she posted a photo of herself holding hands with her man and captioned the photo, “Everyone needs to chill.”
In an interview with Elle Canada, the starlet said that she didn’t want her fans to know every time she makes up and breaks up with Tyga. But in actuality, it seems like she doesn’t care what people think every time she takes back her alleged cheating boyfriend.
“I do think that if you let people in too deep, it gets hard,” she said. “Your fans get too invested, and then they know when you break up and make up. I don’t want people to know every time we fight or break up, so I’d rather keep some things private.”
