‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Summer Preview Brings Big Romance

Days of Our Lives may finally be getting back to the thing that once sucked in viewers, the romance. According to the latest DOOL spoilers, it looks like love will definitely be in the air during the soap’s summer run.

According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, Deidre Hall, who plays longtime Salem resident Dr. Marlena Evans, recently appeared on Hallmark Channel’s Home and Family. Hall dropped some major summer storyline hints for Days of Our Lives fans to look forward to, and it was all about the romance.

Deidre Hall revealed that there are actually several weddings coming up for fans to sink their teeth into. While Hall didn’t reveal which of Salem’s couples would be tying the knot, there are a few rumors that are making viewers speculate about which pairs will be saying “I do.”

Brady Black and Theresa Donovan are on the top of the Days of Our Lives wedding list. The couple have been engaged for a while now, and are currently parenting their son, Tate, together. They not only live together and are planning their wedding, but the two also work together on the company that Theresa designs clothing for.

Although Brady and Theresa have been on the rocks as of late, thanks to Summer, fans are fully expecting the two to walk down the aisle very soon.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, actress Jen Lilley, who plays Theresa Donovan on Days of Our Lives, has confirmed that she is leaving the show, and that the storyline leading up to her departure is pretty amazing. Could Theresa die and leave Brady a single father, just like his own dad, John Black? Fans will find out in a few short months when the plots begin to reveal themselves.

Meanwhile, Brady’s father, John, and his longtime love, Marlena, played by Deidre Hall, are also likely candidates to become Mr. and Mrs. yet again. Although the pair have gotten married nearly too many times to count in the past, they are currently back together and seem as happy as ever. This could lead to another epic John and Marlena ceremony very soon.

Days of Our Lives fans have also seen Steve and Kayla continue to grow closer. It’s obvious that their family, including teenage son Joey, is much better together than they are apart. Fans have been waiting for a long-term Steve and Kayla reunion, which they may very well get in the near future if the pair get hitched.

Also, Hope and Aiden could be having their second wedding. Hope has recently decided to choose Aiden over Rafe, and try to make their marriage work. However, after the crazy events that transpired after their first wedding, Hope may want a fresh start by renewing her vows with Aiden, even though fans have spoken out about wanting the beloved character with Rafe.

Just after summer, there could be yet another Days of Our Lives wedding in the works. Reports are flying that a leaked photograph of Adrienne wearing a wedding dress has been seen. If this is true, Adrienne and Lucas, whose romance has really been on the back burner as of late, could also be walking down the aisle. This wedding could happen just after Adrienne’s son, Sonny Kiriakis, returns to Salem.

If a wedding between Adrienne and Lucas is in the future, there is a possibility for a big ceremony interruption if Adrienne’s ex-husband, Justin Kiriakis, realizes he’s losing the love of his life, and decides to try to win her back.

It looks like it will be the summer of love on Days of Our Lives, and fans should be in for some serious romance.
