Taylor Swift And Calvin Harris Split — Their Friends Share What Really Went Wrong?

Fans are broken up by the news that Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris have split. What caused the end of their seemingly good relationship?

According to E! Online, the end of Swift’s relationship with Harris — whose real name is Adam Wiles — came as a shock to fans. The biggest question remaining is why Swift and Harris decided to end things.

Apparently, nothing scandalous led to their breakup. Instead, their relationship simply fizzled out.

“Adam really liked Taylor, she was not the type of girl he ever dates and he liked that. He liked how innocent Taylor was and that she had a good caring heart,” an inside source explained.

Despite Harris’ feelings, the insider noted that Swift had invested more emotions into the relationship. Harris, on the other hand, continued to get bored with the relationship.

“Taylor’s heart was more in it than his was. He started to lose interest over the past few months, but really tried to not just break up,” the source said.

The source went on to reveal that Swift’s lifestyle and career made it hard for her to maintain a healthy relationship. With all of her traveling, their relationship became more of a friendship than a romance.

“They were just not very compatible in different areas in their relationship. The touring and traveling didn’t help. It seemed like they were more friends than lovers,” the insider said. “Taylor and Adam had very different groups of friends.”

At the same time, the insider explained that Harris did not cheat on Swift. Despite the rumors surrounding the breakup, Harris was not involved with anyone else at the time of the split.

“There were no other women involved with Adam. He did not cheat on her at all. Just not a good match,” the source stated. “No one cheated. There was no drama.”

Of course, an insider told Hollywood Life that the situation was a little more complicated than that. Apparently, Swift wanted to take their relationship to the next level, and Harris wasn’t ready to commit.

“Taylor was starting to pressure Calvin into walking down the aisle,” the source revealed to the outlet. “He just felt that he wasn’t ready yet.”

Shortly after their breakup, Taylor Swift went to Nashville to be with her family.

For her part, Swift was disappointed with how things turned out. Although the relationship ended amicably, Swift felt as though Harris had abandoned her. Now that things are officially over, Swift has no plans on getting back together.

Fortunately, the two parted ways without a huge fight. Instead, Harris calmly ended things with Swift, who was very upset with the news.

“Taylor and Adam had no big blowout fight, but the romance just was not there anymore for them. Adam is the one that ended it. It was all done in a very mature fashion. Taylor is pretty upset but they are still in communication. Taylor was there for Adam with his accident and supportive,” revealed an inside source.

Swift wasn’t the only person surprised by the breakup. In fact, fans all across the world have expressed their shock at the end of what appeared to be a perfect relationship.

The last time Swift and Harris were spotted together in public was way back on May 20. The two were seen hugging each other in the middle of a street, and nothing appeared amiss.

At this point in time, neither Swift nor Harris have talked about their split, except for a tweet from him that she immediately retweeted.

“The only truth here is that a relationship came to an end & what remains is a huge amount of love and respect,” he wrote on Twitter.

Until more information is released, fans will have to wait to learn exactly what happened that caused the end of their relationship.
