‘Titanfall 2’ Having A Multiplayer Beta Before October 28 Release Date
The official Titanfall 2 release date has finally been confirmed. Respawn Entertainment revealed more details about the upcoming first-person shooter during the EA Play event held in Los Angeles.
Titanfall 2‘s global release date is set for October 28 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. But gamers need not wait for the game’s official launch to play it as it has been confirmed as well that Titanfall 2 will have a multiplayer beta, according to GameSpot.
The report noted that there’s no starting date disclosed yet for the Titanfall 2 beta, but it was supposed that it will be available for Xbox One, PC and PS4. Moreover, Gamepur shared the sign-up page link for the Titanfall 2’s upcoming multiplayer beta.

Also, there is a sign-up page available for those who want to receive news about the game’s multiplayer technical test which, according to the site, is “designed to help respawn test various aspects of the game and its online infrastructure.”

According to PlayStation Lifestyle,Titanfall 2 will have six new titans and each one of them is equipped with their own fighting abilities. There’s also going to be an expanded pilot gameplay and fans can expect more options for customization and a “deeper progression system.”
Titanfall’s official website also shared that the new game will use a whole new matchmaking system, which will constantly search for better matches for players. Furthermore, a new feature called Networks will be introduced in Titanfall 2, changing the way gamers “party up and play matches with friends.” There are new maps, fresh gameplay mechanics, new game modes to expect upon Titanfall 2’s much-awaited release.
Aside from the Titanfall 2’s release date and the multiplayer trailer, EA Play also introduced the game’s single player campaign. Respawn Entertainment CEO, Vince Zampella, shared, “With the original Titanfall, we focused on nailing the gameplay and reinventing the way you move and fight in a first-person shooter.” He added, “With Titanfall 2, we’re building on that foundation by introducing a bespoke single player campaign backed by a deeper multiplayer experience that together will once again push the shooter genre forward.”
Describing the single-player mode of the game, the post on Business Wire read the following.
“In single player, Titanfall 2 will deliver a crafted experience that explores the unique bond between man and machine. Playable offline, the single player campaign in Titanfall 2 will let fans step out onto The Frontier as a Militia rifleman with aspirations of becoming an elite Pilot. Stranded behind enemy lines and facing overwhelming odds, players must team up with a veteran Titan to uphold a mission they were never meant to carry out.”

Prior to Titanfall 2’s October release date, fans will be able to secure their own copy of the game by pre-ordering it. According to GamePur, pre-order for the deluxe and standard editions for Titanfall 2 are now live through major retailers worldwide. Titanfall 2 Standard Edition will include Nitro Pack which comes with Nitro Scorch Nose Art, Nitro Scorch Warpaint, and Nitro Call sign. Meanwhile, Titanfall 2 Deluxe Edition gives gamers instant and exclusive access to Deluxe-themed Nose Arts and Warpaints, allowing gamers to customize each Titan on day one. There are also two Camouflages available in this edition which can be used to every Pilot, Titan, and weapon available. The exclusive Deluxe Call Sign is also part of this game edition.
