Justin Bieber & Selena Gomez Soccer Star Secret? Selena Talks LGBT, Twitter Beliebs In Blonde Hair & Pacifier

Did Justin Bieber just send Selena Gomez a secret message using a soccer star as the medium? That’s the rumor that’s swirling ever since Neymar Jr. hung out with Justin’s ex-girlfriend, followed by a video posted by Bieber showing him playing soccer with Neymar, according to Latina.

Fans are speculating that Justin is using Neymar Jr. to attract his former girlfriend’s attention, because the “Sorry” singer posted his video mere hours after the soccer star was seen with Selena. She and Neymar Jr. also were seen exiting the same hotel in New York City just a few minutes apart.

“@neymarjr and I messin around in my backyard,” wrote Bieber for the caption.

If Justin was hinting to Selena that he’s aware of the time she spent with the athlete, no one knows if she got the message. However, the “Hands To Myself” singer generated hookup rumors with the soccer star when, on the same day as she and Neymar Jr. left the hotel only five minutes apart, the couple spent time at Up & Down nightclub, noted ET.

The nightclub date occurred that night. However, regardless of whether Justin was sending a message by posting his own video showing that he hung out with the same soccer star as his ex, a source told ET that Gomez and Neymar Jr. just met, making it too soon to start a new couple alert.

Moreover, Bieber’s former girlfriend has been busy with her Revival Tour, and recently attracted attention for a reason that has nothing to do with Justin and everything to do with her tour schedule.

The “Same Old Love” singer revealed her plans to move ahead with her North Carolina concert, according to E News.

Some performers have chosen to cancel scheduled concerts following the North Carolina government’s decision on the “bathroom law” (HB2). But the 23-year-old singer revealed that after thinking about it, she is moving ahead with her performance.

“I went back and forth on whether I should cancel my concert in North Carolina and ultimately I think what is right for me is to move forward with my show and donate a portion of the proceeds to Equality North Carolina and their effort to defeat this act of discrimination,” she explained.

The bill in question prevents local governments in North Carolina from having anti-discrimination legislation that would protect the LGBT community, such as the right to use either bathroom. Among the performers speaking out against that ruling, Bruce Springsteen, Maroon 5, and 98 Degrees have cancelled their shows in North Carolina.

“North Carolina’s discriminatory HB2 law is extremely disappointing, and it takes away some of the LGBT community’s most basic rights and protections,” declared Nick Jonas and Demi Lovato, who are among those cancelling planned tours in the state. “But we will not allow this to stop us from continuing to make progress for equality and acceptance.”

Gomez said that she has been told the venue in which she will perform offers “gender neutral bathrooms.”

While her Revival Tour proceeds, Bieber is attracting attention for yet another hair color change.

But while his blonde hair got the buzz, others admitted they were baffled about the Biebs’ new accessory: A pacifier.

Vanity Fair pointed out that Justin has been spotted numerous times with a pacifier popped in his mouth, and the “Baby” singer has even shared it on Instagram.

Twitter has populated itself with various theories, one of which contends that Justin is using the pacifier to stop smoking.

In contrast, MTV News offers the theory that the pacifier is a throwback to the 1990s, when it was a favored fashion among those who did drugs and had a tendency to grind their teeth.

While some speculated that Bieber was just babying himself, Mashable noted that the pacifier could provide prevention for the singer when it comes to saying something that he later wanted to retract.

Other theories included showing support for Ariana Grande and Miley Cyrus, each of whom has shown a fondness for being treated like a baby. Ariana supposedly likes to be toted like an infant, while his pal Miley enjoys sporting diapers.

Then there’s the belief that the pacifier is a symbol of Bieber’s rebirth, showing that he’s gone back to the beginning to seek his purpose in life. And finally, a credit for Vin Diesel and his movie, The Pacifier, which might also have inspired the unusual fashion accessory that is causing Twitter to tweak out.
