What Does Kelly Bensimon Think Of Luann De Lesseps’ Future Husband?

Kelly Bensimon may not be a name you associate with The Real Housewives of New York anymore, but Kelly has remained in close contact with some of the ladies from the show. As it turns out, Kelly and Luann de Lesseps have remained close friends since Kelly’s exit from the show after the fourth season. Bensimon was one of the many housewives, who got the boot after the show’s fourth season. So when Luann found love with Thomas D’Agostino Jr., Bensimon got the word from de Lesseps.

According to a new Bravo report, Kelly Bensimon gives her stamp of approval for Luann’s new man. Fans have yet to get to know him on a personal level on The Real Housewives of New York, but he was briefly introduced during last week’s episode, when Luann decided to throw a party for her friends so they could meet him. Kelly Bensimon wasn’t present at that dinner, as she isn’t filming the show anymore, but she has hung out with both the Countess and Thomas at the same time.

“He’s a very, very nice man,” Kelly said of Thomas, adding, “I’m so happy for her. I adore her. And I’m so happy for him because he’s a really, really nice person.”

As it turns out, Kelly Bensimon could have been present for the proposal if she hadn’t chosen to hang out with her family instead. Kelly was invited by Luann to go to a party when they were both in Florida for a vacation, but she chose to spend that time with her family instead. Little did she know that it was the party where Thomas decided to propose to the Countess.

“I’m so excited for her,” Kelly told the Daily Dish about Luann’s upcoming wedding, adding, “It’s just gonna be such a fun wedding, and I can’t wait. I was like, ‘Oh my gosh.’ I was like, ‘Why was I not there?'”

Even though Kelly Bensimon missed out on the proposal, it sounds like she has no plans of missing out on the wedding. The only struggle she’s facing now is who to bring. Even though Bensimon had plenty of men in her life when she was filming The Real Housewives of New York a few years back, she’s now revealing that she’s concerned about who she is bringing as a date.

“Who’s gonna be my date is what I’m worried about,” she told the Daily Dish, adding, “I’m like, oh my God, I need to bring a fun date.”

Maybe Kelly Bensimon just needs to become friends with Dorinda Medley. Dorinda was the one who helped Luann de Lesseps find love with Thomas. But she did have to kiss a few frogs along the way, as shown on The Real Housewives of New York. And Bensimon has already revealed that she’s not a fan of one night stands. But her former co-star appears to be happy with the man, who has now stolen her heart.

“I’m looking for a man who is intelligent, confident and sexy and who has a great sense of humor, and I think I’ve found that in Tom,” the Countess reveals in her Bravo blog, adding, “Tom and I are very much alike, and I’m not surprised that Dorinda would match us up. We both laugh at the same jokes, and he’s incredibly smart, successful and we are both close to our families. I’ve finally met my match. We’ve been inseparable since we met, and things are moving really fast in the best possible way.”
