Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have been the focal point of repeated rumors that their marriage is crumbling. Now, a new report describes the couple as having such “explosive fights” that neither Angelina nor Brad is confident that trying to hold their marriage together is worth the emotional effort, according to insiders cited by Design & Trend .
Among the factors contributing to the end of their marriage is Jolie’s unhealthy lifestyle, claims one insider. Angelina reportedly has been smoking as well as drinking excessively, while rarely eating. And although their wedding joy helped heal the rift temporarily, Pitt and Jolie have started battling again, says that source.
“For a while, the excitement of getting married masked their troubles, but lately, they’ve been having explosive fights. Neither of them is sure that they can or should, hang on anymore.”
Moreover, although Brad has attempted to persuade Angelina to change her unhealthy habits, he’s failed.
“[Jolie] barely eats, she guzzles wine every night and she smokes constantly,” added the source. “Brad’s just exhausted from spending so much energy trying to get her to take better care of herself. It’s been hard to watch the woman he loves waste away.”
But it’s not just her physical health that reportedly troubles Pitt. The actor is troubled by the “dark demons” that plague his wife, and another insider revealed that Jolie tends to retreat not just from Brad but from their children.
“Her wild lifestyle when she was younger and her intense surgeries to avoid getting breast and ovarian cancer have taken a toll on her as a person and a life partner… Some of her issues force her to retreat into isolation and pull away from Brad and the kids.”
Although Pitt at first liked the wild child aspect of Angelina, being pushed away repeatedly has become exhausting.
“It can be really hard on him. He feels he has been more than patient with Angie, but his confidence in their happiness is wearing thin,” added the source.
Brad currently is absorbed in filming a new movie, Allied , for which he sports vintage World War II costumes, according to the Daily Mail.
Pitt, 52, co-stars with Marion Cotillard, Lizzy Caplan, and Matthew Goode in the war film. Directed by Robert Zemeckis, the drama follows Pitt’s character, Max Vatan, as he finds himself in love with a French agent, Marianne Beausejour, portrayed by Cotillard.
Allied is scheduled to be released on November 23, 2016.
But is a real-life drama taking place behind the scenes of Pitt’s new movie? Angelina reportedly is feeling suspicious and jealous about just how close her husband has become to co-stars Marion and Lizzy, according to a source quoted by the International Business Times .
Jolie allegedly believes that the 52-year-old actor has “betrayed” her by making his relationship with his Allied co-stars personal as well as professional.
“Angie and Brad have had some serious arguments, and she told him she feels betrayed by him,” claimed the source. “Recently, Angie became so enraged when Brad was talking about how great Lizzy was, she threw him out of their bedroom.”
And it’s not just Lizzy who charms Pitt. Jolie also becomes angry when her husband “gushes about how cute Marion’s accent is or talks about what a great actress she is,” added the insider.
“[Angelina wants] approval of all his co-stars from now on. Angie is hoping their marriage can be saved, but she’s going to be gripped by fear the entire time [Brad is filming].”
In addition, a new report from OK magazine claims that Pitt and Angelina are on the verge of a $400 million divorce , noted Gossip Cop , which debunked the report.
The reasons are given are her health crisis and his alleged cheating with his sexy co-stars, with Jolie described as “practically emaciated” with “terrible mood swings.” However, the claims that these issues have caused them to be close to a divorce are “nonsense,” according to Gossip Cop ‘s sources.
