Kardashian Sisters Release Their Summer 2016 Beauty Collection
The Kardashian sisters launched a new makeup collection just in time for the summer, and it’s surprisingly affordable.
The Kardashian sisters have made their foray into the beauty world before with their Kardashian Beauty hair collection. Now, the famous sisters just launched their summer 2016 line that will have you glowing all summer long. Kim, Khloe, and Kourtney Kardashian added their Summer Squad makeup line to their ever-growing Kardashian Beauty brand.
The Kardashian Beauty makeup line includes the Kardashian Beauty Dashlight Highlighter as well as Dashlight Strobing Domes, both of which will give you that dewy beach look. The collection also includes Mirror Matte Lip Crayons that makes it easy to fill your lips and color them in a snap. The crayons are available in six colors ranging from the signature Kardashian nude to the classic red lip.

Then there’s the Honey Sticks lip glosses, which come in Scarlet Honey, a shimmery hot pink red, and Gilded Honey that’s a sparkly deep berry shade. Completing the collection is the Touch Tones Gradient Eye Color Sets, which contain eight shades ranging from metallics to matte shadows and pastel hues.
The products in the line range from $8.99 to $9.99 each and are available now on the Kardashian Beauty website and will be available at Ulta stores in June. Check out photos of the Kardashian Beauty makeup line below.

It’s funny that the kit includes a highlighter and bronzer kit since Kim Kardashian recently admitted that she’s had enough of the contouring trend. The famous Kardashian sister made the concept popular among Instagram users and beauty bloggers, but she refuses to contour at least 99.9 percent of her face.
Kim wore a glittery gold dress and beachy waves when she appeared on stage with makeup artist and friend Charlotte Tilbury at the Vogue Festival in London on Saturday afternoon. Her husband, Kanye West, sat front and center, according to Fashionista. Kardashian explained why she’s wearing less makeup these days.

“My husband loves me without makeup,” Kardashian enthused. “But I would wear makeup 24/7 if I could.”
She’s been swapping out her contouring look for the “non-touring” and has even given up wearing false eyelashes. Kardashian said she ditched her “huge makeup bag” for a travel-size bag that only contains an eyelash curler, nude lipstick, mascara, Joe Blasco foundation, MAC kabuki brush, Smashbox powder, blush, and a gold eye pencil from the Kardashian Beauty line.
“I love contouring, and I love contouring my nose. I know everyone thinks I got a nose job, but I really didn’t, it’s all contour,” she admitted.
As of right now, Kardashian is “really into strobing,” which is highlighting your face, kind of similar to contouring.

The announcement about the new Kardashian makeup line comes after the Kardashian sisters were sued for not actively promoting their beauty line on social media. They were sued back in March by hedge fund Hillair Capital Management for not following the particular terms of their contract, which states that they were to “actively promote, market and support” the brand according to the terms of the investment, but failed to do so.

The Kardashian sisters have since fired back with their own court documents, citing that Hillair exploited their distributor, Boldface, by applying for a series of loans and hoping to make millions.
“Rather than take responsibility for its own failings, Hillair filed this frivolous lawsuit, seeking to shift blame to the Kardashians by conjuring up the facially absurd narrative that Hillair, a hedge fund, actually intended to shift gears and go into the cosmetic business,” the Kardashian’s court filings read.
According to WetPaint, the sisters have all “requested all grievances be settled via arbitration, and they have served Hillair with their own notice of breach of license, maintaining the company ‘is likely to be held liable for hundreds of millions of dollars in damages to the Kardashians.'”
