Former coach CeeLo Green will be back on The Voice for the Season 10 finale. Other big celebrities will also be present in The Voice finale to sing duets with the other contestants. According to the same Us Weekly report, Alison Krauss will be performing “Willin” with Adam Wakefield from Team Blake, Joe Walsh will be performing “Rocky Mountain Way” with Team Adam’s Laith Al-Saadi, and Jennifer Nettles will be singing “Unlove You” with Team Christina’s Alisan Porter.
CeeLo Green allegedly left The Voice because of a felony drug case in 2014. In 2012, the singer allegedly gave his date ecstasy during their dinner. CeeLo pleaded no contest and was ordered by a judge to serve 45 days of community service, 3 years probation, and 52 alcohol and drug counseling sessions. According to a Daily Mail report, the judge ordered the removal of CeeLo Green’s supervised probation a month ago. According to reports, CeeLo has already completed the required number of hours for his community service, and he has been fully cooperative. In an interview last year, CeeLo Green stated his desire to go back to The Voice as a coach.
There is no news stating whether CeeLo will return to The Voice as a coach, but if he does, it would definitely not be during the next season. According to several reports, next season’s coaches will include Miley Cyrus and Alicia Keys, along with Blake Shelton and Adam Levine. Shelton and Levine have been present in all seasons of The Voice since the show started in 2011.“I’ve talked very possibly about doing The Voice again. So I just kind of put that out there, wishful thinking, kind of willing it. Because I would love to do it again.”
In addition to making an appearance on The Voice, CeeLo Green will also appear in this week’s Lip Sync Battle channeling his inner rockstar, as InStyle has reported. CeeLo will sing “Rock and Roll All Nite” by KISS and will come out onstage donning a black vest with studs, a curly wig, and Gene Simmons’ signature black and white makeup. He will be going head-to-head against Russell Peters. Check out a sneak peek of the episode below.
