Did Amy Duggar And Her Husband Film ‘Couples Therapy’ With ‘Mob Wives’ Star Renee Graziano?
Amy Duggar and her husband, Dillon King, have been in Los Angeles filming a mysterious new project. They’ve remained tight-lipped about what they’ve been working on, but a Mob Wives star just dropped a huge clue on Dillon’s Instagram page.
Amy Duggar is best-known for being the “rebel” niece of ultra-conservative 19 Kids and Counting stars Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar. Amy made a few appearances on her aunt and uncle’s TLC reality series about their super-sized family, but she did not star on the adult Duggar kids’ spin-off, Jill & Jessa: Counting On. However, Amy Duggar’s reality show career might not be over.
On Monday, Dillon King had an interesting Instagram interaction with Mob Wives star Renee Graziano. He revealed that he and Amy Duggar were heading back home to Arkansas after a lengthy stay in Los Angeles, and Renee wished the couple a safe trip.
“Headed back home! LA was good to us but were ready to be back on AR soil @amyrachelleking #offset #home #goodtimes #safetravel,” Dillon wrote.
“Save flight lovers xoxoxo,” Renee Graziano commented on the post.
Amy Duggar’s husband responded to Renee’s warm words by writing that he hoped that she made it back to New York okay and asking her to keep in touch.
This friendly back-and-forth is evidence that Amy Duggar and Dillon King interacted with Renee Graziano during their Los Angeles trip, and it’s obvious that they were all working on the same project. The day before Dillon revealed that he and Amy were heading home, Renee shared an Instagram post informing her followers that she was about to finish filming something.
“Last day on set in LA” Renee wrote. “So grateful for this opportunity and experience.”
Dillon King first revealed that he and Amy Duggar were heading to Los Angeles to film an unknown project on April 27, so they’ve been gone for almost three weeks. According to VH1, this is about how long it takes to film a season of Couples Therapy.
Mob Wives is also a VH1 show, and the network has featured one its stars on Couples Therapy before — Angela “Big Ang” Raiola and Neil Murphy worked on their relationship during the last season of the reality series. Page Six reports that Renee Graziano started dating a guy that she met at Big Ang’s funeral back in February, so perhaps this mystery man is appearing on Couples Therapy with her. Other past Couples Therapy stars include Courtney Stodden, Farrah Abraham, Jon Gosselin, and Janice Dickinson.
VH1 hasn’t announced a seventh season of Couples Therapy yet. However, on March 23, Dr. Jenn Mann tweeted that she was hopeful that the show would return. If Amy Duggar and Dillon King did just finish spending three weeks with the celebrity psychotherapist, this is a sign that the couple might be experiencing some serious relationship problems. According to the show’s description, Dr. Jenn helps celebrity couples decide whether they want to stay together or split up.
“Under the guidance of Dr. Jenn Mann, a nationally renowned relationship therapist, the couples will participate in group and individual therapy along with relationship exercises out in the ‘real world’ to see if they can rekindle the love they used to have for one another — or if it’s time for them to go their separate ways.”
Amy Duggar and Dillon King’s wedding made headlines in September of last year, but the husband and wife weren’t the reason the event got so much attention. As People reports, it was the first public appearance Anna Duggar made after discovering that her husband, Josh Duggar, had been cheating on her. Josh had confessed to sexually molesting his younger sisters as a teenager a few weeks before he made this second shocking revelation, and TLC decided to cancel 19 Kids and Counting in response to the scandal. According to Radar Online, the network also nixed plans to air a special focused on Amy and Dillon’s wedding.
In January, Amy Duggar and Dillon King revealed that they were working on their marriage by praying together and reading a self-help book about love titled The 5 Love Languages. However, the couple appears to be pretty content in most of their recent Instagram posts.
“I think when you talk about the Lord together you become closer as a couple. You’ve got to affair-proof your marriage. I will guard it like crazy!” Amy told People.
If Amy Duggar and Dillon King had a good experience filming Couples Therapy, maybe they’ll try to convince Josh and Anna Duggar to sign up for a future season of the VH1 show.
