Josh Duggar is back at work after returning home from a lengthy stay in a Christian rehab center, and he might be working with two of his younger sisters.
People recently shared a few photographs of Josh Duggar trying to sell a camouflage-patterned jeep with a $16,500 asking price to a potential buyer. Josh appears to be smiling in some of the pictures, and a source says that he’s content working with his siblings for the Duggar family’s used car business.
During an episode of Jill & Jessa: Counting On , it was revealed that Jinger Duggar and a few of Josh’s younger brothers were making money buying and selling cars. Joy-Anna Duggar was shown helping out by cleaning cars that were purchased at local auctions. Josh reportedly spends a lot of time in the family garage where his younger sister wipes down dirty dashboards and de-gunks disgusting cup holders.

Josh Duggar reportedly “interacts very well with people,” and most residents of the Duggars’ Tontitown, Arkansas, hometown reportedly “don’t really care” that Josh is back home and out of hiding.
Last August, Josh responded to Gawker ‘s discovery that he had a paid account on the Ashley Madison cheating website by confessing to being unfaithful to his wife and checking himself into a faith-based recovery facility. Josh left Anna Duggar and their four children at his family’s compound in Arkansas while he spent six months out of the public eye.
During the same time period he was trying to use Ashley Madison to arrange sexual encounters with other women, Josh Duggar was working in Washington, D.C. as the Executive Director of the Family Research Council , a conservative lobbying group that claims that it “upholds the institutions of marriage and the family.” As USA Today reports, Josh resigned from this position with the FRC after he confessed to sexually molesting four of his younger sisters and another young girl while he was a teenager.
Many Duggar fans and critics wondered what kind of work Josh Duggar would be able to get after the pious family man image that he carefully crafted for himself became forever marred by two shocking scandals. Luckily for Josh, his family members have forgiven him and invited him to work for one of their many side-businesses, and it’s one that he already knows a lot about.
According to the Duggar Family Blog , Josh ran a used car lot called Duggar Automotive before he and Anna Duggar moved to Washington, D.C. In the Jill & Jessa: Counting On episode “Jinger Flips,” it was evident that the Duggars have drastically downsized their used car business since then — now they just sell two or three cars at a time on a strip of grass beside the road.
In “Jinger Flips,” Jinger Duggar and her brothers were shown selling a “flipped” car to a potential buyer. As the Inquisitr previously reported, the man who was filmed agreeing to purchase the car later admitted that the car sale scene was staged. He was friend of someone who worked on the Jill & Jessa: Counting On crew, and he was asked to play the role of “guy who wants to buy car.”
Some critics claimed that the entire episode was set up to downplay the Duggars’ misogynistic views about women working (no Duggar daughters work outside their family’s businesses). If this is the case, Joy-Anna and Jinger Duggar might not be helping Josh buy and sell cars after all — perhaps their car flip was a onetime thing for the benefit of the TLC cameras.
Since four of Josh Duggar’s sisters were his molestation victims, do you think it would be uncomfortable for them to have to work with him? Sound off below.
