Meet Venus, The Amazing Two-Faced Chimera Cat [Video]

Animals frequently make it into the news around here for being funny, adorable, or just plain creepy. You’ll have to decide how to categorize Venus the two-faced cat, (or as the owners call her, the Amazing Chimera) who at the very least qualifies as “unique.”

Venus the two-faced cat is getting a lot of attention online right now thanks to how she looks. As suggested, the three-year-old cat’s face is perfectly divided down the middle – one half black cat, the other half tabby cat. Even the eyes are different. The two-faced cat’s Facebook page “Venus’s Page – Amazing Chimera Cat” has gotten about 13,000 likes so far and a YouTube video (below) around 20,000. And before criticisms of “demon cat” start flying around, her owner reassures us that Venus is a very sweet cat.

“This little split face cat [looked] like a combo of the 2 cats I currently had (and still have),” the owner explained on Facebook.“As tiny as she is she likes to pick the giant pieces of food from the dog food bowl rather than eat her cat food and when the dogs come up she looks at them like ‘um yeah don’t even think about it.’ She’s the smallest animal of 5 but rules roost & doesn’t take any crap from the other animals.”
