‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Duke Helps Anna As She Fights For Her Life And Alexis Confronts Julian As Word Of Carlos’ Escape Spreads

There have been wild twists and turns this week on General Hospital, and spoilers tease that there are more on the way. Carlos managed to escape the car wreck, and he attacked both Nathan and Anna as he battled to get away. Alexis and Julian are facing significant obstacles in their marriage due to this case, and it looks like heartbreak may be on the way. Where are things headed in Wednesday’s episode?

As everybody saw during Tuesday’s show, Carlos knocked Anna unconscious and tossed her into a warehouse cooler. Dante is injured but seemingly doing relatively well, while Nathan was rushed into surgery with a possible skull fracture. General Hospital spoiler previews tease that Carlos is on the run, but he is already scrambling to try to get some help.

Sam visited Alexis and Julian’s place earlier in the week and didn’t mince words when it came to the Carlos situation. We Love Soaps teases that Alexis will continue to struggle with the doubts she has developed, and GH spoilers tease that a heartbreaking and tear-filled confrontation between Alexis and Julian is coming soon. During Wednesday’s episode, she will ask her husband why he has a gun, and it sounds as if she may let herself face the truth about his dastardly deeds of late quite soon.

Previews tease that someone will be checking on Anna as she remains unconscious and General Hospital spoilers from SheKnows Soaps tease that an old friend will be by her side as she fights for her life. Is this a reference to the fact that Ian Buchanan is back playing Duke for a handful of episodes? That seems like a likely scenario.

As ABC Soaps In Depth shares, Buchanan is back to play Duke again for a brief bit, and he is said to be appearing as a ghost or hallucination of sorts as Anna’s life hangs in the balance. Will he be the catalyst to keep Anna alive until someone finds her and gets her to the emergency room? Duke won’t be sticking around for long, but fans are excited to see Duke and Anna together for at least a short while.

General Hospital spoilers detail that Julian will be utilizing and old Cassadine relic of some sort during this next show, and it sounds as if this may be the gun that Alexis sees him with and questions him about. Of course, Julian doesn’t really need to worry about Carlos coming after him, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t worried about some threats as this chaos plays out. Word about the escapes spreads quickly, and Sonny will surely be furious and ready to crack some skulls.

Wednesday’s show also brings some action with Nina and Franco, as GH spoilers tease that he will head to the prison to see his mother, Heather Webber. Kiki will visit Nina, and it seems she will be asking Nina to forgive Franco for all the drama that has played out recently. Nina and Franco will talk soon, but a happy reconciliation may not be happening.

There is a bit of action with Sonny, Carly, and Michael on the way as well. It sounds like they will be discussing Carlos’ escape, and Michael will surely be worried about how this may impact Sabrina and the baby. Michael will be involved in Thursday’s episode in a big way, as he is said to be rescuing somebody. Is there finally some resolution on the way regarding Sabrina’s whereabouts?

It seems that Nathan’s condition will be dire for at least a while, and GH spoilers note that Maxie and Obrecht will do some bonding during Thursday’s episode. Maxie has been intent on learning the truth about Claudette, but will this new medical crisis with Nathan persuade her to let go of the past and focus on the future with her fiance? Griffin reveals a shocker to Sonny and Anna during Friday’s show, and there is chaos related to Nikolas and Rachel at the end of the week as well.

Will Nathan survive the attack? Will Alexis and Julian be able to keep their marriage together as she realizes the truth about what Julian has been doing? What is coming next regarding Anna and Griffin, and how much will everybody get to see of Duke during this brief return? There is plenty more drama on the way this week, and fans won’t want to miss a minute of the action as it plays out on General Hospital.
