Blac Chyna Sex Tape Update: Was The Burglary Just A Set Up To Promote Blac Chyna And Rob Kardashian’s Personal Brand?
Was the burglary of over $200,000 at Blac Chyna’s Tarzana, California, home just an elaborate set up? Now that fans know there’s a sex tape involving Tyga and his ex, Blac Chyna, everyone is now wondering if the scary theft that cost Blac hundreds of thousands of dollars is just a way to capitalize on the sex tape—without looking like the Kardashian crew ever intended to release the video.
On May 2, TMZ reported that a safe holding about $200,000 in cash and jewelry in the model-turned-entrepreneur’s Tarzana mansion was emptied of its contents while Blac Chyna wasn’t home. Rob Kardashian, who is about to marry Blac Chyna and sometimes stays at her house, realized the money was missing “sometime over the weekend,” according to reports, and called local authorities.

Although the police came out to inspect the scene, the authorities noted that the safe itself wasn’t damaged. In other words, the thief hadn’t tried to drill into the safe or explode it, so the police determined the burglary must have been an inside job, possibly perpetrated by someone in Blac Chyna and Rob’s inner circle. The house itself also didn’t show signs of forced entry, so whoever stole all the money must have known how to easily get into the mansion.
Now, fans are wondering if the burglary was just an elaborate set up to release the sex tape Tyga and Blac Chyna made without actually having to take responsibility for the release. According to TMZ, the “stolen sex tape” is the calling card of the Kardashians, who, some would assert, have built their empire on an accidentally-released sex tape.
The Kardashian brand took off after Kim Kardashian’s sex video was released. At the time, the family claimed the video was stolen, but the media pointed fingers at Kardashian’s mother, Kris Jenner.

Walter Mosley, an attorney who represents Blac Chyna, claims that Rob Kardashian’s fiancée will go to the ends of the earth to punish the person responsible for leaking her sex tape with Tyga. But the burglary report and the revelations that there exists a sex tape between Tyga and Blac Chyna have surfaced at the same time, causing skepticism about how upset Blac truly is about the video being “stolen.”
According to a source close to Blac Chyna and Rob, the rest of the Kardashian family “thinks that when a sex tape of Tyga and Blac Chyna leaks in the near future, she and Rob will say it was stolen during the break-in.” It’s not clear if Tyga would make anything off a released stolen sex video, and according to the insider, the burglary is just a way for Rob and Blac to have “complete control over the tape,” so the couple “could ensure that they are the ones to profit off of it,” the insider claims.
Although the source believes that the rest of the family thinks “there is some shady s**t going on,” meaning they’re not involved in the burglary set up, some fans think that Rob and Blac Chyna are just following Kim Kardashian’s lead. The “burglary” and stolen sex tape would give Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian an easy way to capitalize on the video without having to take responsibility for its release, according to TMZ.
It is known that the sex tape has been shopped around to various adult film distributors, although there’s no indication of who exactly is trying to get it publicly released. As of right now, there reportedly has been no interest from distributors.
