Ever since Beyoncé dropped her new album, Lemonade , on Saturday night, fans have been deciphering the lyrics, which hint towards infidelity and marriage problems.
Beyoncé called out Jay Z for his alleged cheating ways in her new visual album. Many of the songs alluded to the problems they faced in their marriage in a series of raw and candid lyrics. She dropped the Lemonade visual album and HBO special at 9 p.m. on Saturday, April 23, in a way to discuss the marital problems that the couple has faced in the 12 new songs.
According to Radar Online , Beyoncé and Jay Z were last seen together on March 6 since they are currently living separate lives as they figure out the current state of their marriage. Beyoncé and Jay Z married in 2008, even though cheating rumors had plagued the rapper for years.
Even Bey has given her fans a glimpse at the infidelity that haunts their marriage.
“Where do you go when you go quiet…You remind me of my father, a magician, able to exist in two places at once. In the tradition of men in my blood, you come home at 3 a.m. and lie to me. What are you hiding? The past, and the future, merge to meet us here. What luck. What a f**king curse,” she’s heard saying in one of the songs.
In the hit song “Formation,” Beyoncé is heard saying, “Are you cheating on me? I don’t want to lose my pride, but imma f**k me up a b**ch,” and then asking, “What’s worse, looking jealous or crazy…I’d rather be crazy.”
Most of the subject matter on Lemonade is said to be about their relationship. There’re songs that allude to cheating, while others talk about a woman named “Becky with the good hair,” and that infamous elevator incident.
Jay Z has been rumored to have cheated on his wife with everyone from Rihanna to Rita Ora, who has denied having an affair with the hip-hop mogul. But that didn’t stop some of Beyoncé’s fans from taking to various social media outlets to harass the British pop star.
Now that Bey has aired out their dirty laundry, she suggested that she still took him back. During the “Forgiveness” segment of the film, she sang: “Now that reconciliation is possible, if we’re gonna heal, let it be glorious.”
So it’s safe to assume that Beyoncé and Jay Z are not going to divorce anytime soon unless, of course, he cheats again. It seems like the singer is well aware of the speculation surrounding their marriage, which is why she probably addressed it in her new album, according to WetPaint . Beyoncé even featured her husband in the Lemonade film. The powerhouse couple were seen kissing and cuddling as if they were never rocked by a cheating scandal.
The special even included footage from their wedding, which has never been seen before. There was also footage of a very pregnant Bey who rubbed her belly for the camera. The singer also put an end to the nonstop rumors that she had a secret surrogate to carry Blue Ivy.

Speculation about their marriage happened during 2014, around the time of the couple’s On The Run tour and HBO special. According to another Radar Online report, sources close to the couple claimed that they were headed for splitsville during that time. Even Beyoncé’s father, Matthew Knowles, said that the cheating rumors helped boost sales for their tour.
“I know, from experience, because we’ve done this, there’s a tour going on. So you have to sometimes ignite that tour – it’s called a Jedi Mind trick! The Jedi min trick fools you a lot of time.”
The more that rumors swirled, the more that Beyoncé and Jay Z earned from their world tour. Beyoncé is well aware that the press and money they received amid the rumors.
The “Formation” song says it all: “You know you that b***h when you cause all this conversation.”
Or, maybe the reason why Beyoncé and Jay Z don’t want to divorce is because they know how much money they can make when they’re together. Jay Z’s reported net worth is $650 million, while Beyoncé has an estimated net worth of $450 million, which brings their combined worth to the $1 billion mark.
Meanwhile, Beyoncé is getting ready for her “Formation” World Tour, which kicks off in Miami on April 27.
