Anna Duggar Forgives Husband Josh Duggar Amid New Molestation Scandal, Will Not File For Divorce
Anna Duggar is ready to move on, forgive, and put the past behind. After all that her husband Josh Duggar put her through, it seems like the 19 Kids and Counting star has not given up and is now ready to take him back. Anna also recently slammed divorce rumors and insisted that she is standing by Josh through it all.
In an episode of Jill & Jessa: Counting On, spin-off to the hit TLC show 19 Kids and Counting, Anna shared that she has not lost hope on what the future will bring. She shared that while the past couple of months have definitely been tough following Josh’s rehab, it helped her become a better person.
“I can definitely look back on the past few months and say it’s been a hard road, but it’s been a good road.”
Anna, however, admitted that it might not take some time before everything goes back to normal between her and Josh. The Jill & Jessa: Counting On star shared that she is taking things one day at a time, trusting God will lead her to the right path.
“I think there’s lots of hope for the future and a lot of excitement. But, in some ways, there are a lot of steps before it’s where it needs to be.”
Just when things are starting to get better for Anna Duggar and Josh Duggar’s relationship, a new report revealed that another victim has come forward, claiming to be molested by the reality star a few years ago.
An insider told Us Weekly, via Hollywood Life, that Josh may have actually molested six, not five, teenage girls in his younger years. When Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar found out about the girl, they wasted no time and got in touch with her parents, fearful that they will soon file charges. This will certainly damage the reputation of the Duggar family even further.
“To their relief, the girl’s parents assured Michelle and Jim Bob that they would handle things with their daughter and that she wasn’t out for any money,” the insider said.
If the sixth victim is not after the Duggar family’s money, then what does she want from Josh? The outlet reported that while her parents claimed that they will not file charges, the victim can eventually change her mind and go after Josh. It was said that she was even planning of writing a tell-all book about her experience.
If all this is true, Josh Duggar is definitely in for a whole lot of trouble and just when his wife Anna Duggar is ready to forgive him. Jill & Jessa will also not appreciate it, given that they have just started on the 19 Kids and Counting spin-off. The two girls have a lot on their plate as of the moment, with big brands pulling their ads left and right. It was even rumored that TLC was thinking of cancelling the show, as it was under intense pressure not just from advertisers but from different Christian groups as well.
In March, Life & Style magazine reported that Josh Duggar was planning on going on a public speaking circuit. Given that he is banned from appearing on Jill & Jessa: Counting On, he is left with no choice but fend for himself. He allegedly thought that he could make money out of his experience, especially since everyone is eager to know about his sex addiction and time in rehab.
“He has to make money and this could be very lucrative for him. It’s likely Josh will travel the world to talk at Christian fundamentalist events this year,” the insider said.
