Robyn Dixon Gives Her Opinion On ‘RHOP’ Co-Star’s Marital Troubles
Real Housewives of Potomac star Robyn Dixon has gone through a rough patch with her ex-husband before filming the show. From the outside looking in, Robyn appeared to have the perfect life with a supportive husband and happy children. But Dixon revealed that she and Juan had actually divorced in all secrecy and were living as a happy family with their children. The marriage had been plagued by cheating and financial troubles, but Robyn decided to stick it out. So when her co-star, Charrisse Jackson Jordan, revealed that her marriage had fallen apart, fans wondered how Robyn felt about it.
According to a new Bravo report, Real Housewives of Potomac star Robyn Dixon is now revealing that she doesn’t like to judge other people’s marriages. Dixon explains that she’s actually great friends with Charrisse and therefore doesn’t feel comfortable talking about her marriage.
“I am great friends with both Charrisse and Gizelle, but I do not feel caught in the middle of their debate about Eddie. Charrisse’s marriage is her business to discuss. I have no desire to give commentary on another person’s marriage, which is a very serious and personal matter,” Robyn Dixon points out on her blog for Bravo.
During the reunion, Jackson Jordan revealed that her marriage had fallen apart, and she was struggling to make sense of it all. Her husband, Eddie, had stopped talking to her after she began filming The Real Housewives of Potomac, and he wasn’t pleased with their personal life being plastered all over national television. She shared details about how he had moved to a different state for work, how they had stopped talking, and when he was fired, he didn’t move back home.
But Charrisse’s husband wasn’t the only one up for discussion. Ashley Darby’s husband, Michael, and Karen Huger’s husband had a few words for one another after Michael showed up for the girls weekend in Bethany Beach.
“The drama between Karen and Michael is pure nonsense. I can’t even begin to understand how Karen has the energy to pick these dumb fights all the time. After a while, I didn’t even know what they were arguing about anymore. What’s next, who has the bigger golf swing and penis size?” Robyn Dixon questions on her blog.
The show has been renewed for a second season, and rumor has it that all of the ladies are returning to the show. Robyn Dixon reveals that she had fun filming the show, but she thought it was interesting to watch the show along with the rest of the world.
“Filming The Real Housewives of Potomac was a fun experience; however, watching The Real Housewives of Potomac has been an eye-opening experience. After watching the show, I realized that when dealing with people who don’t truly know me as a person, things said can get easily misunderstood and taken too personally,” Dixon explains on her blog.
Of course, Robyn Dixon struggled financially while filming the show. According to Radar Online, Robyn and her ex-husband Juan filed for personal bankruptcy last year after filming but before the show started to air on Bravo. The report reveals that she is $217,000 in debt and only has a monthly income of $2,000. Apparently, the majority of the debt comes from her mortgage, where she owes $149,813. She also owes $28,372 to Audi Financial services, and Robyn has plenty of credit card debt. During the show, Dixon revealed that a close friend of the couple had been stealing money and had committed suicide when he was confronted about it.
