Blake Lively And Ryan Reynolds Survive Stabs From Ex Wife Scarlett Johansson

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are very much in love, but that doesn’t mean that they don’t suffer from the same doubts and tests like every other couple. This time, the stab came from Ryan’s ex-wife Scarlett Johansson, who recently dished on the reason behind their divorce.

“The logistics of being with another actor are challenging,” Scarlett said to Cosmopolitan. “There has to be a real understanding of how you share your time, especially when two people’s careers are going at the same rate. Or even if one person is more successful than the other, that also proves challenging. There may be a competitive thing.”

But Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively are both riding such career highs that whatever other people say may not affect them very much right now.

Yes, as you can see above, the Deadpool actor won the award for Best Comedic Performance at MTV Movie Awards 2016. To live up to his award, he dropped a joke about his relationship with his current wife Blake Lively.

“I’d like to thank Twentieth Century Fox, the Deadpool team, the entire crew up in Vancouver,” he said during his acceptance speech according to E! Online. “I want to thank my wife — everything I do is to make her laugh, especially the sex. Thank you.”

Seeing how the couple has joked about each other for the longest time, this is just another one to add to the books.

Meanwhile, even after the stab from Scarlett Johansson, Blake Lively is not letting that get to her. She has been working on a Woody Allen film Cafe Society and that film just secured Cannes opening number this year.

“On Tuesday, organizers announced the selection of Woody Allen’s Café Society, starring Kristen Stewart and Blake Lively, as the festival’s opening-night selection for May 11,” reports People Magazine.

Also, she is back on set shooting some extra scenes for her upcoming movie The Shallows, although that means that she has to clock in hours that she didn’t plan on. That’s a sign of a dedicated actress.

“With just two months to go until The Shallows hits theatres, filming this late in the game is certainly a shock,” reports Daily Mail. “No doubt Blake Lively had not been planning on pulling on a wetsuit in front of the camera again anytime soon. Yet despite all this, the 28-year-old found herself in tight neoprene on a beach in Malibu, California, on Tuesday looking like she had something to hide.”

Seeing how she is recovering from delivering her first child, it makes sense that Blake Lively is feeling a little self-conscious about her beach body. But having a husband like Ryan Reynolds must mean that he lets her relax and not worry so much about the things that are beyond one’s control.

In fact, the Hollywood couple may be planning for another baby!

“One of the world’s most beautiful couples, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, are already parents to one insanely adorable daughter — okay so they haven’t released pictures yet, but with two parents that look like that, come on — and rumors have just started swirling that the family of three could be expanding to a family of four very, very soon,” reports Brides.

Knowing that Cafe Society actress comes from a huge family, she may want to give her baby lots of siblings.

Ryan Reynolds is definitely playing the role of a provider! The rumor on the streets is that the actor signed up for Deadpool 2, which is a good news to all the fans.

“Ryan Reynolds might have closed the deal to star in Deadpool 2,” reports Movie Pilot. “He made $2 million upfront for the first film and was already signed on for a sequel, but his agents wanted to renegotiate for more money on future Deadpool film earnings. This makes absolute sense, as Deadpool has become one of the highest-grossing R-rated films of all time.”

It looks like it will take more than stabs from Scarlett Johansson to bring Ryan and Blake down!
