Khloe Kardashian Cuts Ties With Lamar Odom, Prepares For Divorce?

Is Khloe Kardashian finally ready to say goodbye to Lamar Odom?

Khloe Kardashian filed for divorce from Odom in December 2013, but due to the couple dragging their feet during the proceedings, they have remained married ever since. In fact, Khloe Kardashian was left in charge of making key medical decisions when Odom suffered a drug overdose in October 2015, despite being separated from him for over two years.

As Odom recovered from his overdose, with Khloe Kardashian at his side, the couple opted to sign documents requesting their divorce be thrown out, which it was, and so far, neither party has re-filed for divorce. However, judging by a recent Instagram post from Khloe Kardashian, she may be planning to file sooner rather than later.

“Letting go with love takes great strength. We have to learn to stop taking on peoples problems as if they are our own,” Khloe Kardashian wrote on Instagram on April 9.”Loving people does not mean we have to carry their burdens and confusions on our back. Sadly, You can only express your opinion on a situation.”

“You can’t want their life more than they do. This is in fact their life to figure out on their own and in their own time,” Khloe Kardashian explained.

At the end of last month, a People Magazine source claimed Khloe Kardashian had grown concerned about her former partner, Odom, after he reportedly returned to drinking just before he celebrated Easter with Khloe Kardashian and her family. The outlet also claimed Khloe Kardashian had been supporting the former NBA star in “every way,” and has been paying the rent on his $3 million Calabasas home.

“I do believe timing is everything. You forcing your beliefs and dreams down ones throat is only going to cause resentment and possibly manifest deeper issues,” Khloe Kardashian continued on Instagram. “Possibly to the point of no return. Stop shattering your own heart by trying to make a relationship (friend, family, partner) work that clearly isn’t meant to work. We have to stop trying to repaint people’s colors… You can’t force someone to be the person you need them to be. Even if it’s for their own good!!”

Khloe Kardashian and Odom have remained close in recent years, despite their messy split, which followed rumors of drug use and infidelity, but when it comes to a reconciliation, Khloe Kardashian has made it clear that there isn’t much hope.

“Don’t put your happiness on hold for someone (family, friend, partner) who isn’t holding on to you. ‘A Girl once told me… Be careful when trying to fix a broken person. For you may cut yourself on their shattered pieces,'” Khloe Kardashian concluded.

Since the end of her romance with Odom, Khloe Kardashian has dated a number of men, including Rick Fox, French Montana, and James Harden, but when it comes to a future boyfriend, Khloe Kardashian doesn’t seem to be on the prowl. Instead, she’s focused on her career and her family as she continues to film the 12th season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians. That said, she has kept in touch with French Montana since their early 2015 split.
