Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton seem so blissful together that some skeptics are having a hard believing that what the Cali girl and the country boy have is the real deal. However, there’s plenty of evidence that Gwen and Blake aren’t faking their romance of five months.
Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton love to use social media to celebrate their love, and they’ve managed to find some pretty creative ways to let the world know that they deeply care about one another. As People reports, this includes borrowing each other’s faces for their Twitter profile pictures. For Flashback Friday, Blake delighted Shefani fans by changing his icon to a picture of a teenage Gwen, and his girlfriend returned the favor by finding a photo of a cherub-faced baby Blake to use as her new profile pic.

Some skeptical social media users slammed Gwen and Blake’s photo swap by claiming that it’s just another stunt that the couple is using to fake a romantic relationship. As Enstars reports, numerous critics responded to the People story by accusing Gwen and Blake of pretending to be in love for publicity.
“She and Blake are acting like disgusting teenagers. This relationship is so fake. They act like idiots who can’t be alone,” one commenter wrote. Another alleged that Gwen came up with the photo-swap idea because she and Blake haven’t been in the news enough lately.

They spent spring break with Gwen’s kids
After divorcing Miranda Lambert last July, Blake could have spent a few years enjoying a bachelor lifestyle before looking for love again. However, he jumped right into a relationship with Gwen Stefani instead, and he’s so smitten with the singer that he’s making an effort to get to know her three sons better. As Extra reports, Gwen’s boys — Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo — spent their spring break hanging out with their mother and her new boyfriend in Oklahoma. If Gwen and Blake weren’t serious, surely Gwen wouldn’t allow her kids to get attached to Blake by allowing them to spend so much time with him.
They don’t flaunt their love constantly
As The Inquisitr previously reported, Gwen Stefani performed on Saturday Night Live last weekend, and Blake Shelton performed at the ACM Awards the following night. If Gwen were looking for all the publicity that she could get, she could have worn a daring dress and walked the ACM Awards red carpet with her man. Instead, Gwen flew all the way from New York to Las Vegas just to attend an ACM Awards afterparty with Blake. There’s a chance no one would have discovered that Gwen did this, but as Us Weekly reports, singer Brett Eldridge couldn’t resist sharing a photo of Gwen and gushing about how great she looked.
They’re hanging out in each other’s inner circles
Blake didn’t just ask his girlfriend and her boys to spend spring break with him at the end of March—he also invited Gwen’s brother Todd and his family to Oklahoma for some pre-Easter fun in the Southern sun. Blake must get along with Gwen’s family members pretty well if he’s willing to spend one of the few weeks that he gets off with them. Gwen is similarly embracing the people who are important to her boyfriend, including Blake’s former The Voice team member RaeLynn. According to Entertainment Tonight, Gwen and Blake attended RaeLynn’s wedding together in February. RaeLynn says that she thinks Blake’s new girlfriend is “awesome,” and Gwen recently showed the “God Made Girls” singer a little love by retweeting Blake’s plea for his Twitter followers to vote for her to take home a Radio Disney Music Award.
