‘The Big Bang Theory’ Cast Feuding Over Money?

The Big Bang Theory cast always seems like such a close group of friends, but two of the show’s stars, Kaley Cuoco and Mayim Bialik, are allegedly feuding over money matters.

According to Radar Online, Mayim Bialik, who plays Sheldon Cooper’s nerdy girlfriend Amy Farrah Fowler on The Big Bang Theory, spoke out about how the cast of the show is overpaid. However, she only makes $100,000 an episode while Kaley Cuoco, who plays Penny, makes $1 million for each episode.

Mayim Bialik reportedly recently revealed that she believes the cast makes too much money, and even though she stated the each cast member is overpaid, including herself, it looks like Kaley Cuoco took it as a hit upon her as she’s tied with Modern Family star Sophia Vergara as the highest paid actress on television.

“Kaley is furious at Mayim for trash-talking her earnings. She thinks it’s just a case of sour grapes and jealousy.”

However, Mayim says she’s not jealous or bitter over Kaley Cuoco’s huge salary, revealing in an interview that she’s just happy to be employed and working on The Big Bang Theory.

Of course, Kaley Cuoco isn’t the only member of the Big Bang Theory cast that is making a cool $1 million for each episode (seasons usually have 20 to 24 episodes). Kaley’s co-stars Jim Parsons, who plays nerdy scientist Sheldon Cooper, and actor Johnny Galecki, who portrays Penny’s on-screen husband Leonard Hofstadter, also both earn a million bucks per episode.

If Mayim Bialik is upset that she is making so much less than Kaley Cuoco, especially when the show has turned into such an ensemble series, the Big Bang Theory actors could band together and demand more money or equal pay. It would likely have a positive impact on their salaries.

Back when Friends started to become the huge pop culture phenomenon that it is, cast members Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc, and Matthew Perry all put on a united front and demanded that they were all to be paid equal salaries. It worked out for them, because the cast ended up making $1 million per episode. The show ran for 10 years.

Meanwhile, Kaley Cuoco has had a rough year. She and husband Ryan Sweeting decided to get divorced after less than two years of marriage after rumors circulated that the pair were having a ton of relationship problems. The divorce then led Kaley to cover up a tattoo that included her wedding date in Roman numerals, which was turned into a moth spreading its wings between her shoulders.

Thankfully, it looks like the Big Bang Theory actress may have found love again. Cuoco has been seen getting cozy with Karl Cook, the son of a billionaire who also happens to be a professional equestrian. Since Kaley is a known horse lover, it looks like it could be a match made in heaven.

With Season 9 of The Big Bang Theory wrapping up and Season 10 just around the corner, fans are wondering just how much longer this show about a group of nerdy guys and their love interests has left. There are some big storylines that can still be explored such as Howard and Bernadette’s baby, a possible Penny pregnancy, Raj finally finding the right girl for him, and Amy and Sheldon possibly getting engaged and/or married.

It’s hard to say how much longer the cast members will want to keep filming the show, but with salaries as high as they are, it seems that there could be a good chance the series has a few more years left in it.
