Germany’s Robert Harting won the gold medal in the Men’s Discus Throw. That’s great news for Harting and for Germany. During his celebration, Harting ripped off his shirt like Hulk Hogan. That’s great news for the internet.

According to ESPN, discus fans are used to Harting’s shirt-ripping antics. He reportedly rips his shirt off after every major title win, and on Tuesday, Harting celebrating a victory on the world stage.

The German discus thrower said:

“If you see me coming out the stadium without a shirt, you know it was good.”

Harting has gone undefeated at discus throwing events over the last two years and with his win last night at the 2012 London Olympics he completed a rare “golden triple” with European, world and now Olympic titles.

The 27-year-old Olympian said:

“It’s just amazing. I’ve dreamed of this since I was 12 years old.”

Harting, known as “Lord Of The Ring” in Germany, won Gold with a 223.98 foot throw. Which is really impressive. But it’s his celebration that has has people talking.
