Is Selena Gomez Dating Samuel Krost? It Sure Looks That Way

Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber appeared to be on the verge of a reconciliation just days ago, but now, after spending time with her rumored ex-boyfriend, Samuel Krost, over the weekends, the possibility of Selena Gomez getting back with Bieber appears to be a thing of the past.

In recent weeks, Selena Gomez has been linked to both Bieber and fellow singer Charlie Puth, but when it comes to a relationship, it seems the 23-year-old former Disney star has her eyes on one man, and that’s Krost.

According to an April 4 report by Sugarscape, Selena Gomez put the Bieber and Puth rumors to rest quickly, when she stepped out in Los Angeles holding hands with Krost, whom she was first linked to in November of last year.

In November, 2015, Selena Gomez was seen on what appeared to be a dinner date in Los Angeles with Krost, and around the same time, they were seen getting cozy with one another in New York City, where Selena Gomez was seen flirting with Krost, holding his hand and sitting on his lap.

After stepping out a couple of times with Krost at the end of last year, Selena Gomez appeared to move on from Krost, who is a close friend of Gigi Hadid, with One Direction singer Niall Horan, and the pair were seen a few times in Los Angeles during the month of December. Then, in January of this year, Selena Gomez stepped out with Krost once again, and they were believed to be back on until Gomez told Ryan Seacrest she was single at the 2016 Grammy Awards.

Just after Selena Gomez stepped out with Krost in January, a source claimed Bieber was doing his best to focus his attention elsewhere.

“[Justin] is trying to avoid all the Samuel Krost stuff because it makes him jealous,” an insider told Hollywood Life in January. “He hates that [Selena Gomez] has finally figured him out. He took her for granted and it is now coming back to haunt him.”

Around the same time, a second Hollywood Life source insisted things between Selena Gomez and Krost, despite how they may have seemed, were strictly friendly.

“The pictures of [Selena Gomez] and Samuel may have looked more romantic than they really were, those two are well and truly in the friend zone,” the source explained. “After being introduced to Samuel by their mutual pal Gigi Hadid last year, [Selena Gomez] maintained a friendship with him because she thinks he’s so entertaining and funny. But she isn’t attracted to him in anyway, she just loves his company.”

Because Selena Gomez has yet to address her relationship with Krost at all, it is hard to say exactly where they stand with one another. However, when it comes to the photos, they appear to have at least a bit of attraction to one another. After all, if they didn’t, they likely wouldn’t be spending time together regularly, and holding hands with one another when they do.

As for Selena Gomez’s relationship with Bieber, they seem to be just friends at this point. While Selena Gomez did attend one of Bieber’s shows in Los Angeles at the end of last month, they weren’t seen together afterwards and they haven’t been seen since.
