Chris Stapleton knows that he can help out now and feels like it is important to help the kids who want to be creative, if it is with music or in another way. They had instruments at the school, but a lot of them were old and some were even broken. Of course, they couldn’t afford to repair these instruments and what Stapleton just did will help current students, but also students for years to come. Stapleton shared that the kids were really grateful for his donation. With the way that Chris Stapleton’s career is going, expect plenty more stories like this to come out about him in the future. Here is what Chris revealed about taking the instruments into the kids.
“When I saw the faces of the kids with the instruments you could tell how much they genuinely appreciated it, but they were also in shock. I think they were not expecting me to walk in.”
Of course, everyone was excited when Chris Stapleton showed up with the instruments. While he was there, Chris also performed two free concerts at the school. He revealed a new outdoor theater for the kids to use at the school as well. Chris feels like this was the perfect thing for him to do and stated, “To be here in the hometown, getting to help the school out and the kids out and the community out, that was the most obvious thing for me to do.”
