Floyd Mayweather Shows Adrien Broner Who’s Boss To Hint At Next Fight?

Floyd Mayweather has never been the nice guy, and he will never be. Even though the boxer is technically no longer professionally fighting, he could not resist the urge to show Adrien Broner who’s the boss. Maybe Floyd is ready again to hedge his bets for a next fight!

“Floyd Mayweather has labelled Adrien Broner a ‘snake’ and says he is not good enough to be a pay-per-view fighter,” reports Sky Sports . “Broner, who defends his WBA super-lightweight world title against Britain’s Ashley Theophane on Friday night, has insisted there is ‘no beef’ between him and his former friend.”

The American boxer, who is widely considered as the best of his era, has the tendencies to run his mouth at whoever tries to one-up him, befriend him or try to make him look approachable.

“Adrien Broner, his nickname is ‘The Problem’ — I think he has a lot of problems ,” he told fighthype.com . “One thing I’m trying to find out about Adrien Broner — is he a boxing promoter, is he a rapper or is he a gangster? […] The problem that he really needs to focus on is his problem in Cincinnati. I think the best name for him is not ‘The Problem’, it’s ‘Snake’.”

Adrien Broner probably is regretting that he ever said anything about Floyd.

With that kind of venom, it sounds like Floyd Mayweather is ready to come out of his retirement and schedule his next fight.

Before he starts thinking about the next fight, he is ready to gear up towards Adrien Broner vs. Ashley Theophane fight on April 1. Looks like Floyd has channeled his energy towards fostering the next generation of excellent boxers.

In response, Adrien Broner has promised his fans that no matter how hard Floyd spits venom against him, he will deliver a victory against his opponent.

“I will be puttin’ on a show on Friday night and on Saturday night if he want to get up and fight again,” Adrien Broner said to ESPN . “I’m gonna keep my promise. I will stop him . I’m going to stop him. Listen, I can’t predict the future. I don’t know if it’s gonna be the first round or second, third or fourth. I don’t give a f**k if it’s the eighth, I will stop you. And that’s my promise. I will stop this man.”

Sounds like the four-division world titleholder at least has the words to take on boxers at the highest level.

Since the unanimous decision against Andre Berto on September 12, 2015, Floyd Mayweather has been out of the ring and in the comforts of his multi-million mansion. Even before his retirement, he flaunted his wealth and possessions, which has gotten easier with the advent of social media.

His tastes when it comes to showing off his money has been largely through ostentatious items. Just recently, he made sure that the world has not forgotten about him since the retirement by busting out his most prized possessions onto the streets.

“Floyd Mayweather was flexin’ his bank account HARD Sunday night — hittin’ the streets with 4 INSANELY expensive cars and a $2 MILLION watch ,” TMZ reported. “Mayweather and his crew started the night at Staples — where they sat courtside at the Lakers vs. Wizards game before hitting up Hyde Lounge on the Sunset Strip.”

About to turn forty, the boxer had a reflective moment on his Instagram — to go over the financial and career success he had and how he can display that even more.
