Joe Giudice Enters Prison: Find Out All The Details About What He Will Be Doing
Teresa Giudice already spent her time in jail, and now her husband Joe is in prison himself. The couple was allowed a few months together over the holidays before Joe went in to serve his sentence. It is very unusual that a wife and husband would be allowed to serve their sentences at a different time, but that is how it happened for this couple. E! Online shared the details about what will be going on for Joe while he is in prison and away from his wife and daughters. The family attorney gave a statement about Joe entering jail.

Joe Giudice had his family there with him as he turned himself in. Here is the statement that family attorney James Leonard, Jr. released.
“Joe Giudice surrendered himself to the Federal Correctional Institution at Fort Dix today at 12 p.m. to begin serving his sentence. His brother, his sister and several other members of the Giudice family, as well as myself, were present when he turned himself in to the prison, including Teresa. It was obviously a very emotional day, but this is a very strong family with a tremendous support system and they will get through this, just as they did when Teresa was away.”
Joe Giudice is in a low security federal correctional institution. Joe is at Fort Dix and his first month at the prison will be all about getting orientated. Joe will have several evaluations and this will include a mental evaluation and a full medical history review.

Teresa Giudice was able to call home, but only so many times a month as viewers saw on RHONJ. Joe will be the same way and can only talk on the phone for 300 minutes a month, and only 15 minutes a day at the most. Joe Giudice won’t be talking on the phone with his family very much. There are a lot of days that Joe can have visitors though. Joe will get to have his family come and see him and that will be when he will get to talk to them the most. More than likely, Joe will also be able to e-mail his family like Teresa could, but this has not been confirmed.
Joe Giudice could get to see his family on television when The Real Housewives of New Jersey returns. They do have television in jail, but it is unknown if they will be letting Joe watch Bravo so he can see the family. They have been filming the show already and hopefully some of the time that Joe spent at home before going to jail will be shown on the upcoming season.
Us Weekly Magazine shared that Teresa Giudice did speak out to her fans and thank them for the support now that Joe is the one behind bars. She went to her Twitter yesterday and shared her thoughts.
“I want to thank all of you for the love & support you have shown my family during this difficult time. It means the world to all of us.”
When Teresa Giudice was in jail, it was only for 11 months, but Joe was sentenced to 41 months in jail.
One thing that Joe Giudice will be doing is the fact that he will be getting up at 6 a.m. and has to have his bed made for inspection by 7:30 a.m. There are five times a day that Joe will have to be in his bunk for a check.
