Reese Witherspoon Has A Naked ‘Fan’ — Chelsea Handler Wishes B-Day Girl With Nude Selfie
Reese Witherspoon likes to keep things private when it comes to birthday celebrations. She posted a picture of herself with Nicole Kidman sitting on a table with several glasses of wine and a bright light that probably came from the candle on the birthday cake, which wasn’t visible. Nicole Kidman seemed to sing “Happy Birthday” while Reese smiled at the cake.
“This is 40… I am one lucky gal,” Reese captioned the Instagram photo.
She sure is lucky!
Reese Witherspoon, however, had a friend wish her birthday rather cheekily. That friend was none other than Chelsea Handler. She posted a nude picture of herself with strategically placed arms and black socks on.
The caption on the picture said, “Happy Birthday @reesewitherspoon.”
Chelsea has already talked about her fondness for shedding clothes. She had told Ellen DeGeneres that she liked to strip for the camera.
“I like to be naked because I don’t take my body seriously,” she said, according to the Daily Mail. “People do, and that’s nice for them, but I think bodies are so silly.”
Reese hosted a party on Sunday that included Jenniffer Aniston, Justin Theroux, and Kate Hudson, People reported.
Reese has been getting several birthday wishes, and on Tuesday, Witherspoon’s 16-year-old daughter, Ava Phillippe, gave her one too.
“Happy birthday to this lovely woman! thanks for always being there to support me. have the best day,” she wrote.
Forty is a milestone in everyone’s life, and Reese Witherspoon is no different. It’s true that there are several women who may feel nervous when entering the fifth decade of their life. However, People has reported that Reese is certainly not one of those people.
“Some women might feel nervous about turning 40, but Reese is not one of them,” a source close to the star tells People. “She is in such a good place and couldn’t wish for anything else.”
The actress made her debut in Hollywood with the movie The Man in the Moon in 1991. It was a coming-of-age film in which she played the role of a girl who develops feeling for her neighbor.
It was not until 1999 that Reese was to be a part of the cult classic Cruel Intentions, which also starred future husband Ryan Phillippe. The movie helped the star become one of the A-listers.
Reese received her first Golden Globe nomination with the movie Election, which also starred Matthew Broderick and Chris Klein. Witherspoon even enrolled as a transfer student to research for the role.
“I wanted to stand up in front of everyone and say, ‘You know, you are never going to have to know any of this. I’m a real-life adult and I have never had to use calculus in my whole life,'” she told E! while promoting the film.
However, Reese’s most memorable movie was yet to come. She played a sorority girl-turned-Harvard law student in the movie Legally Blonde.
However, it was in 2006 that she won an Oscar for her role in the movie Walk the Line, in which she played Johnny Cash’s wife, June Carter.
“Thank you to [director and writer] James Mangold who wrote this character, who is a real woman who has dignity and honor and fear and courage and she’s a real woman, and I really appreciate that,” she said in her 2006 Oscars acceptance speech.
Tough times came when Reese filed for divorce from husband Ryan Phillippe in 2007.
“I lay on my kitchen floor and cried a lot and I think at a certain point you just wake up and you’re like, ‘Okay, I don’t want to feel like this anymore.’ And you figure your own sh-t out,” she said in a 2014 interview. “But no one’s going to figure it out for you.”
Those are some memorable words from Reese Witherspoon!
