Beyoncé’s Cousin Kristin Douglas Gains 25,000 Instagram Followers Overnight
Beyoncé’s cousin can count herself among those who are Instagram famous. While the world has known Beyoncé for years — with the singer pictured above at a NBA game with Jay-Z as they watched the Los Angeles Clippers and Golden State Warriors — fans are just being introduced to Beyoncé’s cousin. Kristin Douglas posted a photo on Instagram on Sunday, March 20, which featured Douglas and Beyoncé as they celebrated and remembered their Uncle Skip.
As reported by Yahoo, the Simply Kristin MD Instagram account initially had 2,000 followers. As of this writing, one day after Kristin posted the photo including Beyonce on Instagram, Douglas experienced her Instagram following swelling to more that 27,000 followers.
According to Kristin’s Instagram profile, Douglas is a nurse and a mother of two kids who is also a Taurean. Astute Instagram observers noted that Kristin’s Instagram profile didn’t mention being a wife to anyone — not that a missing “wife” description means that Douglas isn’t married — or that she’s definitely single. Meanwhile, folks are quipping on Twitter about discovering articles titled “Meet Beyoncé’s Fine Cousin, Kristin Douglas” soon — followed by Douglas engaging in hosting parties due to her newfound fame.

While it’s difficult at first to ascertain which woman the Internet is going ga-ga over, apparently Kristin is the woman on the right in the above photo in the blue wrap dress catching all the attention, and the woman on the left is in the below photo from Instagram. (By the by, Beyoncés cousin’s daughter featured on the right in the below photo, is starting to get those “black don’t crack” comments to resurface.)
The comments section of Kristin’s Instagram account shows folks borrowing lyrics from Beyonce’s “Formation” song, wherein the superstar sings about Beyonce’s mother’s heritage being mixed with her father’s Alabama roots to make a whole new interesting Texas mix.

Beyoncé was in Texas while they attended the funeral of the man that linked the ladies in the first place. Kristin’s Instagram photo has others commenting that all three women in the photo are beautiful — including Kristin’s sister, also featured in the photo. However, it’s something about Kristin and her beautiful curves that has the Internet buzzing over her especially.
While the Interwebs have been waxing lustfully about Kristin’s figure and her small waist, Douglas’ Instagram account proves that Kristin doesn’t upload photos that often with a photo from nine weeks ago extolling the virtues of Jesus Calling.
Two months ago, Kristin shared her morning devotion, which spoke of faith being the beginning of a real, lifelong love story.

On Twitter, the buzz about Beyonce’s cousin repeatedly uses some of the same words, mostly describing how “thick” Kristin is, which is often viewed as a positive thing — especially in African-American communities.

Folks are retweeting photos of Kristin Douglas and including emojis like ones that feature hearts in the place of eyes and other emoticons that show how attractive they find Beyoncé’s cousin.
While the focus has been on Beyoncé’s cousin Kristin, Black Sports Online reminded folks that “Beyoncé’s cousin’s sister” — which should make her Beyoncé’s cousin, as well — is also very good looking. Her name is Kelsi, and in her online photos, she appears to look something similar to Kendall Jenner in one particular selfie duck-lip pose.

The Internet is being broken once more, this time by Beyoncé’s cousins — all due to a simple funeral photo that went viral. Go figure.
