Rob Kardashian & Blac Chyna: Why Did They Briefly Split? Plus, Find Out What French Montana Thinks!

Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna are currently together, but last week saw a good bit of drama for the semi-new couple. After about two months of dating, Rob Kardashian suddenly split from the video vixen, and a short while later, he deleted all evidence of their relationship from his Instagram page.

While Rob Kardashian and Blac stayed mum on their split at the time, a source has since revealed the couple’s feud was the result of Blac’s tension with his family.

Rob Kardashian’s sister, Kim, was a close friend of Blac’s for years, but after Blac split from her longtime boyfriend, Tyga, and Kim’s younger sister, Kendall Jenner, began dating him, the two women had a falling out. And, due to Tyga’s relationship with Jenner, Blac and the youngest member of the Kardashian/Jenner family are often seen feuding online. Most recently, Blac was in an uproar after Jenner launched a cooking show with nearly the same name as her own online series.

In addition to Jenner’s clear issues with Blac, the rest of the family appears to be at odds with the model, as well, and after Rob Kardashian revealed he was dating her in January, Khloe, whom he was living with at the time, posted a message which advised someone (she did not name Rob Kardashian) to never go against family.

As for what exactly led to Rob Kardashian and Blac’s brief split, a source offered up some information on March 7, claiming Rob Kardashian’s family’s issues with Blac have led to drama between them.

“[Rob Kardashian] had a fight because of his family and it just blew up from there,” a source explained to E! News. “The family is still not accepting of the relationship and that’s causing huge tension between them. They really like one another but new relationships are tough, especially when the people that are closest to him do not approve.”

“It’s a constant battle between his family and her,” the source continued. “[Rob Kardashian] is an emotional person, so at times he sides with Blac Chyna and other times he can be influenced by his family. And when that happens Blac Chyna gets upset….He is being pulled in two different directions. He loves Blac Chyna, but he misses his family. It’s a bit of a mess. He’s in a difficult position.”

While Rob Kardashian and Blac parted ways for a short time, they are now back on, and after Blac left Los Angeles and flew to Atlanta for a weekend appearance trip, Rob Kardashian arrived to the east coast a short time later. Then, on Tuesday, the couple arrived back in Los Angeles, as Us Weekly revealed, together.

“They are cooling some things down between them but making it seem like to the public they just want their ‘privacy,'” the E! source added.

Although Rob Kardashian’s family may not approve of his relationship with Blac, his sister’s ex-boyfriend, French Montana, does.

“I love the energy Rob is in,” French Montana explained to Us Weekly on March 8. “That’s my little brother. But I love him. So I love the energy he’s in so …. I mean, as long as somebody is happy doing what they’re doing and just working out, having a lot of energy, I love that.”

Rob Kardashian’s family is currently filming the 12th season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians. No word yet on whether or not he and Blac will be seen when the show returns to the E! Network this spring.
