Jennifer Lawrence Dating ‘Master Of None’ Creator Aziz Ansari? What About Her Romance With ‘Captain America’ Chris Evans?

Rumors swirled last month about a possible hook-up between Jennifer Lawrence and Liam Hemsworth, but after Liam rekindled his relationship with Miley Cyrus, all hope was lost. Or not. Another rumor began to make rounds about a possible pairing between Lawrence and Captain America himself, Chris Evans!

According to Hollywood Life, friends Chris Pratt and Amy Schumer helped push Lawrence into dating Chris, but the relationship had been kept hush-hush.

“Amy had actually been pushing Jen to date him, telling her how hot Chris is and how crazy she’d be if she didn’t go for it,” claims a source. And in a report issued February 1 by Life & Style, a source claimed that their relationship was very new, only a few weeks old, and only known by the couple’s closest friends.

Another source added this, “They’ve only gone on two dates so far, but they have been texting each other and talking on the phone,” and “They even had a pizza and movie date at Jen’s place.”

With those claims, it seemed that Lawrence and Evans were on track to be Hollywood’s hottest new couple, but as E! News reports, Lawrence and Evans aren’t happening.

A source recently shared with E! News that Lawrence is “Happily Single,” and that there is no truth to past claims that Evans and Lawrence were a thing.

However, with Valentine’s Day last Sunday, it appears the “Happily Single” Jennifer Lawrence didn’t celebrate the holiday alone, and it wasn’t with Evans.

People reports that Lawrence celebrated V-Day with Master of None comedian Aziz Ansari at the Commodore in Williamsburg. While it appears the night was kept friendly, it did include a shared bottle of red wine and a selection of the bars best comfort foods—mac n’ cheese, nachos, a fried chicken plate, and a sandwich for Lawrence.

“They looked friendly and were showing each other stuff on their iPhones and chatting and laughing,” on onlooker shared with People.

“They tried lots of different food and looked like they had a lot of fun. They looked like really good friends.”

However, despite how friendly the night seemed, other recent evidence has left some to believe that something more than a friendship could be brewing. Bustle reminds everyone of the time that Lawrence gave Ansari a piggyback ride after a Saturday Night Live! after party hosted by Amy Schumer. Also, they, along with Schumer, celebrated Thanksgiving together.

And tie in the fact that Yahoo! reports that Ansari recently broke up with chef Courtney McBroom in January, and before that Lawrence and Ansari had spent time together in Atlanta with Schumer before the Thanksgiving party, and you can see how easily it is to come to the conclusion that something just might be happening between them. Of course, it could be nothing. It could just be really good friends doing what really good friends do, and it wouldn’t be the first time that friends of the opposite sex spent Valentine’s Day together.

Meanwhile, last year, Lawrence shared her view on relationships to U.S. Vogue, “I’m just a girl who wants you to be nice to me. I am straight as an arrow. I feel like I need to meet a guy, with all due respect, who has been living in Baghdad for five years who has no idea who I am.”

Well, Ansari may be from South Carolina, not Baghdad, but judging by onlookers’ reactions from Sunday’s, do we dare say date? Who saw just how much the comedian had Lawrence throwing her head back and laughing, it might very well mean that Lawrence’s next beau, after splitting from Coldplay’s Chris Martin in August, is none other than the Master of None.
