‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Sully’s Identity Shatters Chelsea’s Marriage–Adam Rushes To Sharon’s Side As She Copes With The Loss?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that a massive shakeup in the works after Dylan McAvoy (Steve Burton) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) uncover Sully’s real identity. The spoilers hint that Adam Newman (Justin Hartley) will have to make a tough choice–either admit to Christian’s paternity or save his marriage by denying his own child.

According to Heavy, Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) doesn’t seem to suspect that Christian could have been Adam’s child, even though she was aware of the fact he was intimate with Sage Newman (Kelly Sullivan) just before she found out she was pregnant. Adam promised Sage he would not have any more secrets between them; however, for some reason, Adam believes that this secret will be one that will rip his marriage apart–and this time, for good.

The Young and the Restless spoilers have not confirmed whether Adam is right in his thinking, only that he feels he must protect his secret at all cost. Apparently, it was not in the cards for Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) to find out his secret and use as leverage against him. Last week, Chelsea began to suspect that Victor could be holding something over Adam–and vowed to figure out what it is so she can free her husband from Victor’s clutch.

The Young and the Restless spoilers suggest that Chelsea will not uncover the truth about Christian’s identity; however, she will notice how attentive Adam is to Christian when it comes out that he’s alive. According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, Chelsea will piece it together after she recalls how sad he was at his memorial to how elated he was when he was found alive. The real question is what will Chelsea do next now that she suspects Adam is Christian’s father?

The Young and the Restless spoilers hinted that a couple will be reuniting while another one will suffer an enormous setback. While the truth is out not quite yet about Christian’s identity, it won’t be long. Once Chelsea learns of Adam hiding the truth, which she will consider lying, she will be furious with Adam. Chelsea threatened him not too long ago if he lied once more to her, she’d walk away with Connor, and he’d never see them again. Adam vowed to do whatever she wanted him to do; however, Chelsea doesn’t trust Adam.

The Young and the Restless spoilers indicated that Head Scribe, Chuck Pratt, Jr. wanted to place Adam and Sharon McAvoy (Sharon Case) in the same scenes more often. In fact, after not mentioning Sharon for months, Adam finally mentioned everything he did for her when she learned of her mental illness diagnosis. It seems highly likely that when Sharon learns that Sully isn’t her child, she will come unglued–and Dylan will eventually leave her. Adam will come in and save her from hurting herself or someone else, just as he has always done for her. Adam made it clear when he yelled at Dylan a few weeks ago, Sharon is still special to him, and if she needs him, he will help her–just as he tried his best to help Sage.

It should be action -packed over the next few weeks as the drama unfolds about Sully’s true identity. The truth will devastate Sharon and Dylan, and bring joy to Nick and Sage. Nick’s joy will be short-lived as The Young and the Restless spoilers state Nick will learn that he is not Christian’s biological dad.
