Rihanna And Leonardo DiCaprio Reignite Romance Rumors: DiCaprio Spotted Outside Rihanna’s Exclusive New York Party

Are Rihanna and Leonardo DiCaprio having a “rih-union”? It certainly looked that way on Friday night when the two superstars were spotted outside of the Up & Down nightclub.

Although they did spark romance rumors last year, it is unclear whether they spent any time together at the nightclub on Friday.

But the story gets juicier. According to the New York Daily News, the paparazzi caught up with Leonardo outside of an exclusive party hosted by Rihanna to celebrate the Fenty X Puma collection. So it’s safe to assume that they probably spoke to each other at least at the event.

As TMZ reported last year, they sourced pictures of Leonardo DiCaprio and Rihanna that looked a lot like they were kissing at a Paris nightclub, although insider sources denied that. They insisted that Rihanna was there dancing with model Cara Delevigne when the two spotted DiCaprio and gave him a friendly greeting that included a kiss on the cheek. The dating rumor surrounding them originally started in 2015 when they were spotted spending Valentine’s Day weekend together at some very trendy New York hotspots like Up & Down. They were also rumored to have attended a secret Paul McCartney concert together, according to the New York Daily News.

“They were whispering and staring into each other’s eyes,” a concert goer told Us Weekly at the time.

Then Leonardo diCaprio threw the Bajan diva a birthday bash on February 20, Us Weekly report. The party reportedly happened at a private residence in Beverly Hills and the last party-goer didn’t leave until 4 a.m.

“There were balloons that spelled out her name set up,” an insider source said of the bash that celebrated the “FourFiveSeconds” singer who donned a low cut dress and wore her dark hair down.

Although Leonardo DiCaprio and Rihanna have not ever confirmed that they’re in a relationship there’s a posibility that they could start dating at any time, especially since Rihanna seems to be single and the media reported that Leonardo DiCaprio broke up with his Sports Illustrated model girlfriend, Kelly Rohrbach, in December

Rihanna currently has a lot on her plate though. As we previously mentioned, she recently launched her collaboration with PUMA at New York Fashion Week.

She also recently released her newest album, Anti, and will be going on tour later this month. Rihanna also said in a recent magazine interview with Vanity Fair, that she has not been in a committed, serious relationship since she was involved with Chris Brown. The two split up briefly after the domestic violence incident that shocked the world in 2009. Chris and Rihanna then got back together and were briefly in a love triangle with Karrueche Tran. Chris Brown and Rihanna broke up permanently in 2012.

The Barbadian singer has also been romantically linked to rapper Drake, who she collaborated with on her most recent single “Work.” She’s also been linked to Travis Scott, who was featured in her ads for Fenty X Puma and who, according to Us Weekly, spent a lot of time hanging out with her during New York Fashion Week.

Leonardo DiCaprio is also a busy man as well. He’s been on the award circuit campaigning for his movie, The Revenant, and is coming off a Golden Globe Award and SAG Award win for Best Lead Actor. He also cleaned up at the BAFTA’s, the British version of The Academy Awards recently, picking up another Best Actor award for The Revenant, according to The Mirror.

Leonardo used his heartfelt acceptance speech to thank his mother who’s celebrating her birthday.

“I didn’t grow up in a life of privilege, I grew up in a rough area of Los Angeles, and my mum drove me three hours a day to my school,” DiCaprio said. “I want to thank my mum, it’s her birthday today. Mum, I love you very much.”
