Kylie Jenner Lip Kit: Popular Kit Sells Out In 10 Minutes, Here’s How To Find It Online
Kylie Jenner’s lip kit was sold out in less time than it takes to watch even half an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, but fans looking to land the popular Lip Kit by Kylie will be able to follow along to see when they’re back in stock.
The $29 kit went on sale on Friday, and was completely sold out within 10 minutes.
Kylie had given fans a heads up this week, letting her Instagram and Twitter followers know to keep an eye out on Friday to follow the release of the latest Lip Kit by Kylie. She had been teasing the release of the lip kit by sharing a few of the shades, and the final addition included an ode to her older sister.

MTV News has the details.
“Yes, lucky Khlo is the first sister to be honored with her very own shade. Kylie introduced Koko K — second from left — on Instagram. Kylie has found naming inspiration in her family before, naming the red shade — Mary Jo K — after her grandmother and, of course, one of the first shades — Dolce K — after her childhood dog.
“Kylie launched a new website to coincide with the launch of the new shades, so pop over to Kylie Cosmetics if you need a Koko K — or any of the other shades — in ya life.”
This is not the only color for a lip kit that Kylie dedicated to a family member.
“The vibrant red color — called simply “Mary Jo” — with its matte finish, is a lipstick classic, perfect for the matriarch of the family and mother of Kris Jenner,” Us Weekly reported.
The fast sell out makes sense given the huge audience for the Kylie Jenner lip kit. Her LipKitByKylie Instagram account has a total of 1.3 million followers, and her hints that it would come out on Friday have generated plenty of media attention.
Kylie’s last lip kit was just as popular, launching back in December and selling out in about 30 seconds, Seventeen reported. A second kit was released two weeks later and sold out in just as much time, but generated some controversy in doing so.
TMZ reported that some customers who paid $29 for Kylie’s lip kit waited more than two weeks without any sign of it arriving. Many made angry calls and emails to the lip kit distributor, C&S Sales, but said they didn’t get an explanation.
Though the Kylie lip kit sold out in just 10 minutes, it may not be long before fans can get their hands on more. Kylie has promised updates on her official Twitter page when there are more in stock, so fans can keep an eye out here to see when that might be. For some frame of reference, the last release of Kylie’s lip kit was restocked in a matter of days after it originally sold out.
For now, Kylie’s official website says that the lip kit remains sold out. For those too antsy to wait, there are a number of shades of her past collections available on eBay, but they don’t come cheap. Many are listed for $80 or more.
The Kylie lip kit could just be the beginning of a larger fashion brand for the Jenner sister. Seventeen noted that she changed her Lip Kit Instagram page to @KylieCosmetics, which the outlet said “much implies the world will be seeing more Kylie beauty products in the near future.”
