Is Selena Gomez Still Dating Samuel Krost: Singer & New Boyfriend Haven’t Been Seen In Days
Selena Gomez and Samuel Krost appeared to be a serious item just weeks ago, but following their last appearance in New York City, the couple has been keeping a low profile.
Selena Gomez has been keeping fans guessing in regard to her love life for the past several months. After stepping out with Krost in early November of last year, when the pair engaged in a PDA-filled visit to a Big Apple restaurant, Selena Gomez was spotted with Justin Bieber in Los Angeles, and in photos, the 23-year-old singer was seen with her arm on Bieber’s shoulder. Then, in an odd turn of events, Selena Gomez seemingly went public with One Direction’s Niall Horan, whom she’d been linked to before. However, within weeks, their rumored romance came to an end, and it was Krost who Selena Gomez was spotted with yet again.

After enjoying a dinner date in Los Angeles, Selena Gomez and her reported boyfriend, Krost, traveled to New York City, where Selena Gomez was featured on an episode of Saturday Night Live, and during their trip, Selena Gomez and Krost stepped out for a date at Nobu. As Just Jared revealed at the time, the believed couple’s January 21 outing was also attended by Cully Smolder, a friend of Krost.

While Selena Gomez and Krost haven’t been spotted together by paparazzi in the weeks since their New York City dinner date, there doesn’t appear to be reason to believe they’ve split, as Selena Gomez has simply been busy with her career, which recently took her to Utah for the Sundance Film Festival (she confirmed the news on January 31 on Instagram). Meanwhile, her ex, Beiber, is said to be jealous of her new relationship with Krost.
“[Justin] is trying to avoid all the Samuel Krost stuff because it makes him jealous,” an insider told Hollywood Life last week. “He hates that [Selena Gomez] has finally figured him out. He took her for granted and it is now coming back to haunt him… It really is screwing with his head because he is not in the drivers seat with [Selena Gomez]. It really is something he isn’t familiar with and he is trying to figure out if he should let her go for good or not.”
Although Bieber is reportedly threatened by Selena Gomez’s rumored relationship with Krost, the two have reportedly kept in touch throughout her time with him.
“He keeps up friendships and talks with many of his exes, including the only real love of his life [Selena Gomez],” a second Hollywood Life source revealed. “Selena likes to know where he is and they still text at least once a week. Justin is enjoying his success and is focusing on living life to the fullest and right now that means not being tied down to any one woman.”
Selena Gomez and Bieber dated for years before splitting in 2013, and despite their breakup, they have remained in close contact since the end of their relationship and are often seen together. But when it comes to romance, there doesn’t appear to have been anything romantic happening between the pair in recent months, even prior to Selena Gomez’ public debut with Krost.
As for Selena Gomez’s ex-boyfriend’s own love life, his is just as complicated as her own. In recent weeks, Bieber has been linked to Hailey Baldwin, Sarah Jeffery, and Kourtney Kardashian.
