Selena Gomez & Samuel Krost Continue To Fuel Relationship Rumors: Who Is He?

Selena Gomez and Samuel Krost appear to be in a full-blown romance. Although the pair has not spoken out about the nature of their relationship, their body language and regular outings in both Los Angeles and New York City appear to speak for themselves.

Back in November, Selena Gomez sparked rumors of a possible romance, when she and Krost were seen getting extremely cozy with one another at celebrity hotspot Cipriani’s in New York City. In photos of the pair at the time, Selena Gomez sat in Krost’s lap as she joked, smiled, and gazed lovingly into his eyes. Then, on the way out of the restaurant, the couple was seen holding hands, further confirming rumors of a possible relationship.

According to a January 23 report by Heavy, the possible new boyfriend of Selena Gomez is a former New York University student who appears to be quite the smarty pants. In addition to graduating Cum Laude, Krost was included on the Dean’s List Honors and participated in the Tisch Scholars Program. He also studied abroad at the NYU Madrid Global Campus in Spain.

Currently, Krost, a close friend of Gigi Hadid, is working as a marketing executive for Onia, and was previously hired by top designer Helmut Lang.

Following Selena Gomez and Krost’s November outing in New York City, their romance appeared to fizzle, as they weren’t seen together for weeks. Then, in early December, Selena Gomez reunited with Justin Bieber, whom she’s dated on-and-off for years, seemingly confirming anything previously happening with Krost was now defunct. She also was seen a number of times with One Direction singer Niall Horan, leading to rumors of a romance between them. Then, in January, Selena Gomez went public with Krost once again.

On January 19, Us Weekly published photos of Selena Gomez and Krost holding hands as they left a dinner date at the SLS Hotel in Los Angeles. According to the magazine, Selena Gomez had also been spotted together the previous night, when they enjoyed an evening out at the 1Oak Nightclub.

“[Selena Gomez] was fixated on him all night and barely paid attention to anyone else,” an observer at the club revealed to the magazine. “[Selena Gomez] seemed very focused on him and they sat right next to each other in a VIP booth.”

Despite her new romance with Krost, a source recently told Hollywood Life that Selena Gomez is still in contact with Bieber, and the two communicate at least once a week.

“[Justin] keeps up friendships and talks with many of his exes, including the only real love of his life [Selena Gomez]. Selena likes to know where he is and they still text at least once a week,” their source explained. “Justin is enjoying his success and is focusing on living life to the fullest and right now that means not being tied down to any one woman.”

That said, Bieber has no interest in getting involved with a Selena Gomez romance, or a relationship with anyone else — even if she wasn’t dating Krost.

“He feels that now is no time to be tied down to one woman. It would be selfish of him because he knows he doesn’t have the proper amount of time to nurture a healthy relationship, so he is just having fun,” the source explained to Hollywood Life.

Selena Gomez has not yet commented on her new relationship.
