‘Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers: Ivy Forrester Set to Return in February–Hope’s Return Could Halt Ivy’s Return?
Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers teased that Ivy Forrester was not leaving the soap opera, and would return after a brief absence. CBS Soaps in Depth reported that Ivy’s portrayer, Ashleigh Brewer, would return after a short time away, and would continue to drive a wedge between Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline McInnes Wood) and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton). The news update was weeks ago, and Ivy is nowhere to be seen. Is it possible that Brewer’s character has been placed on the backburner, like so many other talented actors?
Ivy Forrester was a front burner storyline for months. Bold and the Beautiful showcased the rivalry between Steffy and Ivy, which ended with Steffy driving her cousin out of town. Ivy decided to go back to Australia, announcing she was moving back home. The sudden move puzzled the Forrester family, as she previously claimed she would not allow Steffy to run her out of the family company, much less the huge city of Los Angeles.

Soap Central posted the week ahead spoilers for the week, and no mention of Ivy in the week’s spoilers, nor the down the road previews. The spoilers are all centered around Quinn (Rena Sofer) holding Liam (Scott Clifton) hostage and the Brooke (Katherine Kelly Long), Katie (Heather Tom, and Bill (Don Diamon) love triangle. Steffy and Wyatt were barely mentioned in Bold and the Beautiful spoilers.
Down the road, spoilers should have mentioned her if she will be returning soon–if for no other reason but to give her fans hope that she’ll return soon. And, if Ivy does return, and no longer has the rivalry with Steffy, would Ivy’s storyline still fit in the show? Ivy’s supporters are doubting the writers can pull off any other storyline for her, and worry about her return possibilities. Even so, Bold and the Beautiful confirmed that the actress will return to canvas soon.

CBS Soaps in Depth stated in December that Ashleigh Brewer was taking a short break, and would return in early February. Since the Bold and the Beautiful announcement, there have not been any other talks about her return, and at the moment, her storyline wouldn’t mix well with what’s going on the show. It led to Ivy’s fans panicking at the possibility that she may not return in the next few weeks as originally planned.
Presently, the fans can be assured that Ashleigh Brewer should arrive on canvas by mid-February. Not much is known about her return, and she is not listed in the Bold and the Beautiful February Sweeps spoilers at all. In fact, Ivy and Thomas Forrester (Pierson Fode) are the only reoccurring characters not given a storyline during Sweeps month.
Soap Opera Spy revealed in December that Ashleigh Brewer would return to Forrester after a “couple of days.” Ivy Forrester should appear in the next couple weeks; if she doesn’t, the audience will know that The Bold and the Beautiful has decided to put her character on the backburner with Thomas Forrester and Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan).
If the rumors are correct, and The Bold and the Beautiful plans to bring Hope (Kim Matula) back on the canvas, where would that leave Ivy? It seems like Hope’s return could make Ivy’s comeback a near impossible task; however, time will tell if (and when) Hope may return. Hope’s name was mentioned on the show a few days ago, giving the audience the inkling that Hope could be on her way back to L.A. with her father, Deacon.
Bold and the Beautiful has not given any clues about when Sean Kanan, Ashleigh Brewer, or Kim Matula may return. Stay tuned to Inquisitr for the latest Bold and the Beautiful spoilers, news, and updates!
