Rob Kardashian Intervention? Kim Kardashian Reportedly Confronts Brother On ‘KUWTK’
Has Rob Kardashian’s sister confronted him with an intervention on the set of Keeping Up With The Kardashians? According to a new report, the reclusive Rob Kardashian, who was diagnosed with diabetes just a short while ago, may be returning to the E! Network reality show sooner rather than later.
Over the holidays, Rob Kardashian began feeling ill and was ultimately taken to a Los Angeles hospital, where doctors performed a number of tests and determined Rob Kardashian was diabetic. However, while many would have believed the health crisis would have served as a wakeup call, a new report claims Rob Kardashian has been slipping back into his unhealthy ways, which may be putting his life in jeopardy. In turn, his sister, Kim Kardashian, confronted him with an intervention in hopes of encouraging a healthier lifestyle once and for all.
“Kim thought if the intervention was filmed, [Rob Kardashian] would be more responsive to it,” a source explained to Radar Online on January 22.

“There was a therapist to guide the family. This was coming from a place of love. Initially Kris was hesitant, but was desperate to do anything,” the source explained.
Meanwhile, Khloe, who is the closest sibling to Rob Kardashian, and also his current roommate, wasn’t on board with the intervention, but chose to be there during the event, while Kourtney, Kendall and Kylie were left out of the family meeting.
Although the family intended the meeting to prompt a positive change, the source went on to reveal that Rob Kardashian wasn’t at all receptive to the idea, and immediately left his mother’s home once he realized what was about to happen.
“As soon as [Rob Kardashian] walked in Kris’ house, he realized what was about to go down and just walked right out the front door,” said the source. “He just got in his car and drove away. He refused to pick-up his phone for several days, and nobody knew where he was.”
And ever since, revealed the source, Rob Kardashian has been indulging himself in bad habits. He “continues to drink Red Bulls which are loaded with sugar,” an insider previously told Radar Online. “He’s eating junk food, too.”
“The diabetes diagnosis should have been a wake-up call for [Rob Kardashian], but he is in absolute denial about it,” the source continued. “He refuses to monitor his blood sugar daily as doctors have told him to do. Even more frustrating is that [Rob Kardashian]’s diabetes would likely go away if he began working out and eating healthy!”
Prior to his diagnosis, Rob Kardashian struggled for years with weight gain, and also depression, which has been discussed on episodes of Keeping Up With The Kardashians. During one particular episode, which aired last year on the show, Rob Kardashian’s mother, Kris Jenner, was seen discussing his weight gain, revealing to a life coach that he had gained over 100 pounds in just one year after leaving the show in 2012. She also revealed that she was fearful of where Rob Kardashian’s behavior could lead.
As for whether or not fans will see footage of the Rob Kardashian intervention, the source added, “Khloe will make sure the footage of the failed intervention won’t air.”
