Selena Gomez isn’t holding back when it comes to letting the world know that she’s turning 2016 into the year of her comeback. From Saturday Night Live (SNL) and “girl power” to romances, Selena is ready for her revival. And for Gomez, doing an SNL promo with MMA fighter Ronda Rousey proves she’s all grown up and ready to roar.

Joining Cecily Strong, Selena and Ronda showed off their strength combined with some boy crazy cuteness on the SNL promo, reported the Daily Mail.

The trio are strong and independent, points out Ronda on the promo, with “serious girl power.” But then the cuteness comes into play as they decide it’s time to call boys. The episode will be the first for Rousey when it comes to hosting SNL, while Gomez has the role of musical guest.

Selena Gomez Gets Close To A New Man

But it wasn’t a spoof or just for TV when Selena was spotted recently on a date night with her new boyfriend. Gomez reportedly is dating Samuel Krost, People claimed.

Taking time off from her Saturday Night Live rehearsals, Selena went to dinner with Samuel recently at New York City’s Nobu. The 23-year-old singer was accompanied by Cully Smoller as well as Krost. Cully is the BFF of Gigi Hadid and a mutual pal.

The romance rumors began to swirl when Gomez and Samuel were seen together in November, holding hands after a stop at a New York City hangout. In addition, Selena and her new boyfriend were spotted holding hands again, on this occasion in Los Angeles near the 1Oak nightclub.

Will The Return Of ‘Jelena’ Ever Happen?

As for the reconciliation that some had hoped for between Selena and Justin Bieber for “Jelena” fans? A source told Hollywood Life that the reunion of Jelena won’t happen anytime soon.

With the 21-year-old pop idol starting his “Purpose World Tour” in a few months, he’s just too busy for romancing seriously. And it’s not even something the Biebs wants for himself right now, according to that source.

“Not only is it an issue of scheduling, but Justin just doesn’t want a girlfriend,” said the source. “He feels that now is no time to be tied down to one woman. It would be selfish of him because he knows he doesn’t have the proper amount of time to nurture a healthy relationship, so he is just having fun.”

After surviving the battles that resulted in his split with Gomez, the pop star is content to just enjoy being single and free to mingle.

“He really is enjoying being single and loves spending time with pretty girls, even if some are just friends,” added the source.

But that doesn’t mean Bieber has lost touch with Selena or that Gomez has forgotten her lovebird partner.

“They stay in close contact,” revealed the source. “Maybe one day when their careers aren’t so busy they will get back together.”

What Happened To Selena Gomez’s Other Rumored Romances?

Before deciding to move on with her new man Samuel, Selena was involved in rebound romances after the Biebs. Among them, Gomez was reported to be hooking up with One Direction star Niall Horan, reported E! News.

Selena joined the One Direction singer last month on a visit to the Santa Monica Pier, even going on the famous rides such as the roller coaster. They wore matching outfits and were looking like more than just platonic pals.

Moreover, Selena and Niall were spotted kissing and hugging during a birthday bash for Jenna Dewan Tatum.

While those rumors roll on, the Latin Post reports that Gomez is caught in a “love triangle” with Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry.

While Orlando enjoyed flirty fun with Katy following the Golden Globes, Bloom also blossomed when it came to romancing Gomez.

As for those past reports about Zedd? Selena clarified that it’s over, and it was a lovely romance while it lasted, reported People.

“I adore Anton [Zedd] a lot and I definitely had a thing with him, which was nice,” said Gomez.

The rumors of a romance began when they teamed up for “I Want You To Know.” Selena and Zedd also shared photos during their hook-up but resisted any public announcement of a relationship.
