Josh Duggar Battles Porn Star In Rough Sex Lawsuit: Mike Huckabee Slams For Abusing Sisters, Defends ‘Godly’ Duggars
Josh Duggar lost the squeaky clean reputation he once possessed as the oldest son of the conservatively virtuous Duggar family. But the 19 Kids and Counting reality TV star, after a year filled with confessions included molesting some of his sisters when he was a teen, using the Ashley Madison website to cheat on his wife Anna Duggar, and a porn addiction, is still determined to battle his newest scandal, which is taking place in court with porn star Danica Dillon.
Two months have passed since Danica hit Josh with a $500,000 battery lawsuit, but Dillon has failed to provide adequate evidence of what she alleges were rough sex encounters with Duggar, claim Josh’s lawyers. The court papers showing the argument by the attorneys representing Duggar were cited by Radar Online.
Josh claims he never even encountered Danica, making it impossible that he paid for sex and then assaulted her. Representing Duggar, Jeffrey A. Conrad is contending that Dillon has not shared the text messages she claimed to exchange with Josh, and also that she did not release any details on lost wages or medical records recording the two occasions on which Danica claims they had rough sex.
Moreover, Conrad claims that Dillon has been busy socializing and publicizing herself rather than focusing on providing proof of the encounters with Josh.
“It appears that in the days since her Complaint was filed, Plaintiff has found the time to bowl at Admiral Robinson Recreation Center in San Diego, California, ride a helicopter in Kauai, Hawaii, attend a San Diego chargers game, and to publicize photographs of herself undertaking those activities on Instagram,” accused the lawyer.
As for details on lost wages due to the rough sex with Duggar that she alleges, the legal team representing Danica only sent the $900 contract that Dillon has with a strip club called Creekside Cabaret, which is the location where she says she encountered Josh. The contract does not suffice to provide evidence of lost wages, argued Josh’s lawyer.
Mike Huckabee Slams Josh Duggar But Defends Duggar Family
In addition to his court battle, Duggar has found himself attacked by someone who once was a famous friend of the Duggars, presidential candidate Mike Huckabee, reported She Knows.
Huckabee previously supported all of the family, but now he’s making it clear that Josh no longer has his backing following the scandals involving molesting some of his sisters and using the Ashley Madison site to cheat on Anna.
The presidential candidate revealed his attitude change while campaigning. Questioned about he feels regarding child abuse and the Duggar family, Huckabee blew up.
“You don’t know — ma’am, I’m sorry, but I’m going to stop you… you’re accusing me of supporting child abuse,” slammed Huckabee. “And I’m going to take you on on that because that hurts my feelings… let me tell you something: You have no idea what you’re talking about. You don’t know that family and I do. You don’t know them. I’ve never supported child abuse.”
Although the questioner attempted to interrupt, Huckabee raged on about how he feels regarding the reports that Josh molested some of his sisters. Mike made it clear that he feels the Duggar parents did all they could to care for their family while also attacking the abuse from Josh as well as the media attention.
“You accuse me of supporting child abuse. You do not know that family. I never supported anything that happened to those daughters. I supported the fact that those daughters were maliciously and savagely abused, not just by their brother, but by the news media who exploited them for their own purpose without proof of what it was doing to those young ladies… I’ve known them since they were babies. You don’t know what those parents did and how they worked to try to take care of their entire family. You don’t know.”
The woman urged Huckabee to answer, and Mike became more irate about the situation. He emphasized that while he accepted she had apparently chosen to confront him, he would not accept what he regarded as her intention to abuse the Duggar family’s reputation.
“You’ve come in here to confront me, which is fine,” stated Huckabee. “But you cannot abuse, which is what you’re doing, the reputation of a godly family who have been through hell because a son of theirs — one of their many children — did something evil and sinful that nobody is backing up and supporting. But I would support any family who tries to work through their problems under the grace of God.”
