Cara Delevingne: Is She Responsible For Kendall Jenner And Harry Styles’ Reunion?
You can thank Cara Delevingne for helping her BFF Kendall Jenner hook up with Harry Styles, according to a new report.
The British model is said to be responsible for Hendall’s New Year’s Eve reunion. Delevingne played the role of “cupid” by setting up Kendall Jenner with her ex-boyfriend Harry Styles. The couple was rumored to have dated in the later part of 2013, and have been spotted on a private yacht in the Caribbean over the holidays, sparking the rumors that they’re back together.
An insider told Britain’s Closer magazine (via the Belfast Telegraph) that Cara is the one to thank for the couple’s shocking reunion. Apparently, she got the One Direction member to woo Kendall back into his life.
“Harry’s been bombarding Kendall with calls, flowers and texts since he moved to LA after the band’s break at the end of 2015. Cara played cupid, encouraging Kendall to give things another go with Harry.”
Delevingne has already reportedly hooked up with Styles, but that hasn’t affected her friendship with the Jenner sister. These days, the model-turned-actress is in a relationship with 33-year-old musician St. Vincent, whose real name is Annie Clark. Delevingne and Clark started dating in 2015 and has even admitted in Elle magazine that she’s in love for the first time ever. The insider added that Delevingne wants to same to happen for her friend.
“Cara’s so in love and wants Kendall to be happy. She feels that Harry is perfect for her – they’re adorable together.”
Harry, Kendall, and Cara were photographed running into each other at the 2014 British Fashion Awards, and it looked like there was no awkward tension between the sexy threesome.
But, other sources revealed to OK! Magazine that Kendall Jenner is getting in the way of Cara Delevingne’s relationship with St. Vincent since the friends are so close. The source added, “They call each other by their nickname, CaKe.” Vincent is already “over it! She’s so tired of hearing about ‘Kendall this’ and ‘CaKe that.'”
This is also the same tabloid which claimed that Cara was the driving force for Jenner to come out about her sexuality.
But, it looks like Cara is doing just fine balancing her relationships and her friendships. Last week, she took to Instagram to post several photos of her #WomanCrushWednesday, which of course was her girlfriend. She let the hashtags and emojis do most of the talking, calling her girlfriend “#oneofakind.”
Earlier this month, it was reported that Kendall Jenner and Cara Delevingne were going to launch their collaborative clothing collection named CaKe, after their friendship nickname. They plan to launch black T-Shirts with the logo “CaKe” emblazoned in white, which they will sell in both the U.K. and the U.S.
An insider told The Sun that Kendall was the brains behind the new clothing line, but it’s a collaborative effort.
“They both see it as a bit of fun but are secretly confident it will do well. They’re two of the most photographed women in the world so the brand is going to be picked up by millions of fans. The ultimate aim is for CaKe to have its own stores in the U.K. and U.S.”
Kendall and Cara first gave their fans a glimpse at their new brand last summer when they were spotted wearing “CaKe Tour” T-Shirts at Taylor Swift’s 1989 concert in Hyde Park. They both posted their shirts on their Instagram pages, which have a combined number of 70.3 million followers.
