Lisa Rinna’s ‘Playboy’ Past Exposed, ‘RHOBH’ Star Wonders Why She Judged Erika Girardi [Photo]

Lisa Rinna got a glimpse of a recent music video made by co-star Erika Girardi, aka Erika Jayne, on last night’s Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and when she did, she was left completely shocked by the sexually-chaged piece. However, as many Lisa Rinna fans may recall, the former soap star posed nude in Playboy Magazine, not once, but twice!

During the show, as Lisa Rinna was overcome with surprise at her newest co-star’s video antics, Davidson reminded fans of her Playboy past, but still, Rinna acted like a complete prude. Luckily, her senses have since returned, and in her latest blog, she admitted to being irrational.

“This episode was a bit much with the judgments and interrogations and unsolicited advice, don’t you think? Hello. How does someone who has posed not only once but TWICE for Playboy have any right to pass judgment on Erika’s career?” Lisa Rinna wrote in her Bravo blog on January 13, citing her own past in the racy men’s magazine. “Shame on me for even going there.”

Just months ago, Lisa Rinna shared the photo below with her fans on Twitter, revealing one of her outtakes from the magazine.

Continuing on in her blog, Lisa Rinna spoke of her decision to Google Girardi’s alter-ego, Erika Jayne, before the two met for the first time. Although Girardi had already been introduced to a number of the women, including Lisa Vanderpump and Kyle Richards, Lisa Rinna’s first time meeting her took place at the Hamptons home of Real Housewives of New York City star Bethenny Frankel.

“When I was told I was going to meet her, I did what anyone would do… I googled her!” Lisa Rinna admitted. “While I was definitely surprised by what I found at first, I have to say, I became an Erika Jayne fan as soon as I met her. So much so, that I cringed just now watching my reaction to Erika before I met her. Erika is fabulous. I know it. She knows it. And now the world knows it!”

Lisa Rinna came aboard the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after Season 4 wrapped, and saw the exits of both Carlton Gebbia and Joyce Giraud, who each starred on the show for just one season. At the time, Lisa Rinna was joined by soap star Eileen Davidson, whom she already knew. In addition, Lisa Rinna was close with a number of the cast’s stars, mainly Kyle Richards, who she’s known for years.

Also in Lisa Rinna’s blog, she addressed the comments made to Davidson by Lisa Vanderpump in regard to her relationship with Vincent Van Patten, her husband of 12 years. On last night’s episode, Vanderpump spoke of Davidson’s alleged “affair” with Van Patten and asked if it began on the set of The Young and the Restless, where they had briefly worked together. Although Davidson was clearly bothered by the comments, she remained calm during their chat and chose to confront Vanderpump during a later scene.

“It was made quite clear to me last year that Eileen doesn’t feel comfortable talking about the early days of her and Vince’s relationship,” Lisa Rinna explained. “Not to mention, Eileen was pretty forthcoming with the information she shared with us last season about it, so I can understand how being asked again this year could feel as if she’s being unnecessarily questioned.”
