Kylie Jenner’s Lip Kit Causes Controversy: Teen Disses Kendall’s Skin Woes
Kylie Jenner’s lips are causing controversy once again. The 18-year-old’s Lip Kits have been extremely popular, and it appears that some of her fans are still waiting to receive theirs.
Kylie Jenner’s Lip Kits first went on sale on Cyber Monday, but they sold out within minutes and were then sold on eBay for thousands of dollars. She then released the first re-stock on Dec. 14, but again, the kits were sold out within minutes, making fans have a meltdown.
Now fans are mad that they still don’t have Kylie Jenner lips because they still haven’t received the Lip Kits that they ordered a month ago. Some even took to Twitter to exclaim that they received an email stating that their orders won’t be fulfilled.
But Kylie is trying to put her fans’ woes to rest by teasing new shades on Snapchat, and confirming an upcoming restock on the official Instagram page for her Lip Kits. She shared this black-and-white photo of the three original shades (Candy K, True Brown K, and Dolce K) along with some new mystery shades. Kylie hinted that they are busy restocking the three original shades along with stocking up the new shades.
Kylie Jenner’s signature beauty look not only includes her matte lips, but also her long nails. She took to Snapchat to show off her “natural” nails, according to MTV News. Jenner’s version is nude or blush colors. She also shared another photo of her nails on Instagram, hinting that she’s growing them out. Jenner even wrote an entire post on her website dedicated to her long claws, and how she gets them done.
The reality star also took some time to diss her sister, Kendall Jenner’s, skin woes. She shaded her older sister by sharing that she never had trouble skin, but Kendall always struggled with acne.
Early last year, Kylie Jenner was named as the brand ambassador for skin care brand Nip + Fab. Now in a new video, she’s sharing some of her beauty tips and secrets with her fans. Of course, Kylie was always blessed with a flawless complexion, but her supermodel sister wasn’t always as lucky.
“I never had bad skin. But my sister had really bad skin growing up. And the only thing that really helped her was to find a good dermatologist.”
As for the younger Jenner sister, she says that she sticks to a simple beauty regimen to combat breakouts.
“I still like to wash my face in the morning. Sometimes I’ll have leftover mascara, so I like to just take everything off, start fresh. And then I’ll usually be doing my make-up. I love Dragon Fix. I just love how it’s really moisturizing. So I like to use that before my make-up.”
When it comes to doing her everyday makeup look, Kylie says she likes to use a little mascara and bronzer. But when it comes to a night out or date night, the teen has revealed that it takes her 20 minutes or more to apply the drawers upon drawers of makeup products on her website and app, and she tells her fans that it’s necessary to use a wide variety of makekup products.
“The powders that you use are really important, especially when the camera hits you. I feel like your makeup looks completely different… in photos than it does in person.”
Kylie Jenner has already revealed her entire beauty regimen to the New York Times. During her profile, she says that she visits her family dermatologist, Christie Kidd, in Beverly Hills for her skin, and Dr. Ourian (also in Beverly Hills) for her signature lips.
