‘The Bachelor’ 2016 Spoilers — Episode 3: The Villain Causes Trouble And Four Go Home
Ben Higgins is still looking for love, but luckily, he has a horde of beautiful women around him to help him with his task. The 2016 season of The Bachelor has already established a lot of different roles for the 28 women that started on the show, even though seven of them left after the season premiere. Once episode 2 was over, three more had taken off and Ben was down to 18. Episode 3 will see four more head home and the villain shows her true colors.
Please let it be known that there are possible spoilers ahead for the new season of The Bachelor starring Ben Higgins. If you don’t want to know them, stop reading now.
Everyone watching should know by now what Ben Higgins is all about, and if you don’t, then Philly.com wants you to know that he has some high standards. On the first night of meeting all the ladies, he said he wanted physical relationships and kissing to wait.
“It was important for me to set standards on night one. I knew at the end of the night I was going to have to say goodbye to seven women and I wanted to make sure that I was getting the most out of our time together…. The physical part, I thought, could wait. It comes, I’m not going to say it doesn’t. It is part of a relationship, right? It is important in a relationship, but on night one, it was important for me to take advantage of that time.”
That was night one though, and now we’re heading into time for episode 3 which means some dates have happened and it’s time to move on. The third episode will air on ABC on Jan. 18, 2016, and everyone is still out in Los Angeles, California.

Reality Steve has revealed all of the details for episode 3, and things will get going with Lauren Bushnell having a one-on-one with Ben. They end up flying around the Malibu area in a plane and it’s pretty awesome, and ends with her receiving a rose.
Next up is a group date which has 12 women joining in on things. Ben shouldn’t be particularly overwhelmed though as he started out with 28 women, so 12 should be a much simpler task of keeping things straight and orderly.
For the group, they head out to the L.A. Coliseum for a “soccer date” and it ends up being just like the soccer date that Juan Pablo had a few seasons ago. Here are the 12 ladies who were met by Kelly O’Hara and Alex Morgan of the U.S. Women’s Soccer Team.
- Jami
- Haley
- Rachel
- Olivia
- Jen
- Emily
- Leah
- Lauren H.
- Amber
- Lace
- Shushanna
- Amanda
The ladies square off in two teams with one called Stars and one called Stripes. The Stripes won, the Stars went home, and the winners had a party at a lavish hotel afterward. When all was said and done, Amber got the group date rose.
For the one-on-one date, Jubilee went out with Ben in a helicopter ride around San Diego to keep the flying theme for this episode going. After a wine tasting, she got a rose. Mandi, JoJo, Becca, and Caila end up without a date in this episode.
This is when things get a little ugly and Lace Morris shows her villainous side. She keeps having issues with Ben during their time talking and she actually gets so fed up with it all that she leaves the cocktail party and the show. Yes, Lace eliminated herself.
From there, Ben had the rose ceremony and still ended up sending three more women home. Those who end without a rose are:
- Mandi Kremer
- Jami Letain
- Shushanna Mkrtychyan
Again, just about every single rose ceremony elimination is known for the 2016 season of The Bachelor except maybe for who Ben Higgins finally chooses. You can decide if you want to spoil all that for you yet or not, but two episodes are down, a third is on the way, and things are only going to get maybe a little calmer with Lace Morris now out of the way.
