Jessa Duggar Seewald and Ben Seewald have pretty much escaped the drama that surrounded the Duggar family in 2015. While it was clear that Jessa was one of the sisters who was touched by Josh Duggar, the media pretty much left her alone except when she spoke out on the special with Fox News. Through it all, she had remained the most positive about the things ahead for her family, even when the birth of her son in November was difficult. As the Seewalds decide what is next for their family, there is plenty of talk about how many children they will have.
After just one year of marriage, Jessa and Ben Seewald have welcomed one son. Their son was due to be born on their wedding anniversary, but he was late. During the recent three-part series on TLC, Jill & Jessa: Counting On , Jessa Duggar Seewald was talking about the size of her family. According to Starcasm , Ben Seewald joked about having “15 sons,” and Jessa Duggar Seewald was quite happy to entertain the idea of having 15 sons. While it is clear these two want a big family, not all of the children will likely be biological. Jessa Duggar Seewald has talked a lot about adoption before and during her pregnancy. She realizes that her body may not be able to handle having as many children as her mother had, and that adoption is an option.

There has been a lot of talk of Duggar adoption in recent months. Jill Duggar Dillard and Derick Dillard have mentioned adopting a child from Central America, and the eldest Duggars have also vowed to adopt in 2016. It was originally thought that Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar were against adoption and chose to procreate instead. As it turns out, that is not the case. The Duggars plan to adopt a child in 2016, although there is nothing concrete out there about the process for them. Jessa Seewald and Jill Dillard joked that if they went down to Central America together, they would be returning with more kids than they brought down there with them.
Because Jessa Duggar Seewald has been laying low and staying away from the headlines, there isn’t too much dirt on her or her husband, Ben Seewald. As one of the more outspoken Duggars, people respect Jessa and take her more seriously. No one has questioned her parenting of Spurgeon, but many have jumped on Jill Duggar Dillard for parenting Israel. According to Fashion & Style , Jill Duggar is being harassed about possible child abuse, although fans find the claims ridiculous. The news of Jessa Seewald wanting more kids received mostly positive comments from people.

The Duggar family is controversial, even without the scandals that rocked through 2015. Jessa Seewald has prepared herself for the media attention. Both she and Ben Seewald aren’t as active on social media as much as her older sister Jill Dillard seems to be. There are random blog posts and photos of Spurgeon shared, but nothing that would give people anything to gossip about. Right now, though, fans are wondering when the Seewalds will announce another baby. It has been almost two months since Spurgeon was born, and the waiting period isn’t quite over yet.
If Jessa Duggar Seewald and Ben Seewald want 15 sons, fans will support them all they way. Jessa seems to be one of the more realistic Duggar children, and she can certainly hold her own. Fans are hoping TLC will strike a deal with Jill Dillard and Jessa Seewald to have their own show. It is time for the sisters to branch out on their own, and the ratings showed a fan base for it. Jessa Duggar Seewald is enjoying her time as a mom, and she plans to make it a full-time job with more kids soon.
