‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Shocking Death Leads To Heartbreaking Organ Donor Decision

Days of Our Lives fans last left Salem in complete tragedy. The Basic Black New Year’s Eve fashion show party was winding down and many of our favorite characters were on the road when a shocking car accident occurred. Now we know exactly who was involved, who will die, and what heartbreaking decision will come from the loss of life.

According to the Christian Post‘s latest Days of Our Lives spoilers, a car accident will totally rock Salem this week after Eric Brady got behind the wheel of his car drunk and seemingly caused the accident that injured himself, Jennifer Horton, Daniel Jonas, and Brady Black, all of whom will be rushed to the hospital.

Unfortunately, Dr. Daniel Jonas’ life will not be saved and his body will be kept alive by machines as his mother, Maggie Horton-Kiriakis, will be forced to choose which one of Daniel’s best friends, Brady Black or Eric Brady, gets his heart via transplant to save their life.

Brady and Eric, who also happen to be step-brothers, will have their lives hanging in the balance as they fight to stay alive. Maggie will be forced to make the hardest decision of her life with her husband Victor, Brady’s grandfather, by her side. While it seems like Brady may get Daniel’s heart, it’s unlikely that Eric will die, and may get his own transplant in the nick of time. However, as many Days of Our Lives fans know, actor Greg Vaughan, who plays Eric Brady on DOOL, will be leaving the show very soon, but the details of his departure are unclear.

Meanwhile, Days of Our Lives fans will be weeping with Nicole Walker, who is Daniel’s fiancé, as she is forced to say goodbye to her love and watch two other men whom she’s loved and now calls dear friends fight for their lives. It looks like Doctors Kayla and Finn will have their hands full when the show returns on Monday in hopes of saving some lives. As for Jennifer, it seems like she may be the one who escapes injury the most, but she’ll have to suffer the wrath of Nicole, who will likely be looking for answers and placing blame on Jen out of pure grief at the loss of Daniel.

There has been so much death on Days of Our Lives lately as characters such as Paige Larsen, Serena Mason, and the beloved Salem citizens Will Horton and Bo Brady have all been killed off. The town is hurting so badly, and now Maggie will join her husband Victor in mourning a son as Victor only recently lost his son, Bo.

Meanwhile, Daniel’s death will bring back some former characters to Days of Our Lives. Daniel’s ex-wife, Chloe Lane, will return to mourn the death of her former spouse and father of her son, Parker, as well as Dan’s daughter, Melanie Jonas, who will be back and likely have an awkward encounter with Theresa Donovan, the woman who ran her out of town and is currently in a relationship with her ex-fiance, Brady Black.

Chloe may also run in to some of her old flames while in Salem as Philip Kiriakis has returned, her ex-husband Brady Black is injured, and her other ex-husband Lucas Horton is also in mourning over his son, Will. Perhaps the two will have a sweet exchange of understanding between them.
