2015 Christmas Hours: What Hours Are Stores And Restaurants Open On Christmas Day And Night?

Christmas is a time to spend with family, friends, loved ones, and to enjoy food, presents, and great company. It’s supposed to be a day where you stay at home with everyone or travel around from house to house to eat as much as you can and spread good cheer. Still, sometimes you forget something or need a little extra, so here are the hours for stores and restaurants on Christmas Day 2015.

If you’re looking to get in some hardcore last-minute shopping, then as Inquisitr reported earlier, the Christmas Eve 2015 hours are what you need to know.

Knowing that, there are going to be some stores and options available to you, if you really need them, on Christmas Day itself. There won’t be a lot of them, but some locations will be open for you to head out to, just in case the need arises.

Please remember to check with your local stores and restaurants, as not every location carries the same hours.

Stores? Well, there aren’t going to be a lot of them that will be open on Christmas Day or even Christmas night, so you may not want to plan on shopping. Some retailers will open up into the evening to prepare for the “Day After Christmas” sales, but many will stay closed for the whole holiday.

Even with numerous retail locations adding late-night shopping hours through the week prior as reported by CBS News, they still aren’t going to be open on Christmas Day itself.

Last, but not least: are banks going to be open on Christmas Day 2015? Well, according to Go Banking Rates, the majority of banks will not be open on the holiday itself. Actually, you really shouldn’t expect any to be open on Christmas itself.

As for Christmas Eve, some will be open, but their hours will be much reduced. You will need to call your local branch to find out their hours, but don’t expect really any banks to be open past 2 p.m. on Christmas Eve at the latest.

Christmas Day 2015 is right around the corner, and you need to get your holiday shopping done before the holiday actually arrives. Store and restaurant hours are going to be very limited, and some won’t have any at all on the holiday, but that’s how it should be, isn’t it?
