Kim Fields Calls Out Kenya Moore On ‘The Real Housewives Of Atlanta’

Kim Fields is best known as Tootie from The Facts of Life, but she is now the newest housewife to join The Real Housewives of Atlanta. At only five episodes into Season 8, Fields has been quiet through it all. There haven’t been any confrontations where she has been a part, and that is unusual for the newbie in this crowd. As it turns out, that silent behavior will end when episode 6 rolls around.

According to Wetpaint, Kim Fields is going to stir the pot and get Kenya Moore going. The girls head down to Miami and as the newbies are talking, they find out Moore has been running her mouth. While it has been proven over and over again that she speaks out of turn, Kenya isn’t used to being called out by the new kids on the block. Several issues throughout the seasons have been because of misinformation via Moore. Kim Fields has let a lot slide so far, but it appears she has had enough of everything Kenya Moore. As the news spread that the ladies believe she is an instigator, Moore becomes irritated. It looks like Miami won’t be as drama-free as many had hoped.

It seems Kim Fields isn’t the only one who has Kenya Moore pegged as an instigator. NeNe Leakes recently appeared on Watch What Happened Live and told Andy Cohen that she believes what the ladies are saying about her foe. For the seven seasons Leakes was on the show, Moore and her were definitely not close friends. These ladies often bickered over things, especially when Leakes didn’t agree with the stuff Moore was spewing among the ladies.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta was the perfect fit for Kim Fields. She was asked to join and it seemed like she would fit right in with the ladies. Obviously, once the crazy started happening, Fields became uncomfortable. According to Entertainment Tonight, Phaedra Parks had to calm Kim Fields down as the crazy began to unfold. In fact, at one point, Fields just wanted to go home because she couldn’t handle the intense levels of crazy that were happening. Parks said she was relieved to be home with all her limbs after the Miami trip.

As the season progresses, it will be interesting to see how Kim Fields copes with The Real Housewives of Atlanta drama. She is more of a laid-back person whereas some of the other women are higher strung. When the physical altercation happened between Cynthia and Porsha, there was nothing Fields could have done to prepare herself. She seems to be becoming better friends with Phaedra Parks as their children play together. Fields has typically kept to herself, especially with the drama on the booze cruise. She has never made headlines for intense shenanigans, and it is likely she never will.

When it was announced that Kim Fields would be joining Season 8 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, fans were unsure about her fitting in with the ladies. Kandi and Phaedra are the most laid back, and the drama surrounds Kenya and Porsha. So far so good for Fields, but Miami changes everything. Will she be more aggressive after they return home to Atlanta? At this point, fans aren’t so sure that Fields will want to return to The Real Housewives of Atlanta if Bravo renews it for a ninth season. Going from leading a somewhat normal life to be thrown into this chaos, Kim Fields just wasn’t ready for everything being a housewife from Atlanta entailed.

The episode where Kim Fields calls Kenya Moore an instigator airs Dec. 13 on the Bravo network. It is the sixth episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, and will be one you won’t want to miss!
